  • Mutalib Beg, a former commander of Northern Alliance DEAD

At least 20 people have been killed in a suicide attack on a funeral procession in the northern Afghan province of Takhar, officials say.

Police said 30 were hurt in the attack in the provincial capital, Taloqan.
Among those killed was local MP Mutalib Beg, a former commander in the Western-backed Northern Alliance - the faction that fought against the Taliban.

Takhar is one of the provinces where Nato is handing over security duties to Afghan forces.

The BBC's Bilal Sarwary in Kabul says this is the third time a former Northern Alliance commander has been killed in the province.

He says Matalib Beg, an ethnic Uzbek, was an influential commander and a former police chief of Kunduz province.

There are reports that other senior officials were also at the funeral.

There is no difference between pak army and northern allience. They are actually two sides of the same coin. They are both killers, They are both disloyal to their loyalists and both are american slaves... I want to cut them into pieces.

Again uzbek islamists (IMU)! However, killing eachother won´t help us because these people will blame Pashtuns for that and again Pashtuns get victimized and driven out or killed or raped. The Northern Alliance will just replace him and maybe by someone who is more cruel than him. That´s the true reality. Very sad. I don´t see any light at the end of the tunnel

Such as Taliban, Pakistan, Haqqani and many many of our own Pashtuns. Stop blaming others when yourself lick them the most. Karzai and Khalilzad brought US to Afghanistan, not any Uzbek or Hazara or anyone. The criminal NA just accepted their operation against Taliban as their own enemies. We would do the same or did the same with Arabs and Pakis and other foreigners fighting against our own non-Pashtun countrymen. The case is that the NA does not accept this war against Pashtuns as theirs. They call it a Pashtun-US problem and for taking revange they keep silent about genocide on Pashtun people. If someone is to blame for that than Pakistan, Taliban and those Pashtuns who hosted these criminals and gave them a safe heaven and ground for terror attacks on the west and specially against US (09/11) and those Arab terrorists who killed Muslims and now an entire nation suffer because of those criminals. Every Pashtun ruler and leader and their loyalists and vezirs and ministries worked against Pashtuns. When we will get smart und educated to take our own destiny and not letting others to manipulate us? You people are just little kids, far away from realities, you and your stupid baseless judgments. Don´t always point on others... clean the ground of your own house at first ...

                Alhamdulillah,

the northern alliance is building again a group and is collecting weapons and ammunition in case that the government collapse and the withdrawl of foreign terrorist forces.

they will be this time slaughtered like cows in texas (lol poor cows of texas)...lol

last time they were lucky the people of islam had almost defeated them but the iranian raafidah and russian communists supported them with weapons.

Did you know that your hero karzai was fettered into Afghanistan from Pakistan aboard American aircraft ?

Buddy, Imran Khan is ending Pak support for US war with supply routes and bases, but I am sure you are disappointed with this news.
