  • Balochistan at point of no return

“This is not Pakistan army. Rather, this is Punjabi army which is indulging in inhuman acts against the Baloch people... But if atrocities continue the Baloch will never accept a united Pakistan... Baloch youths don’t want such a Pakistan in which they receive mutilated bodies of their compatriots. It is for them to decide [about their future], because they are being systematically eliminated and forced to seek refuge in the mountains... ”
    Full article here.

In the December of 1971, the Bengalis refused to accept a united Pakistan because they weren't ready to forget their language, identity and culture and compromise on the control of their own natural resources, even for the sake of Islam (or pan-Islamism).

    The Baloch are following suit.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

The people of Baluchistan want nothing to do with Pakistan. In places like Satellite town and Chalo bawri, anti-Pakistan sentiments is on the rise.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Baloch Nationalists have been anti-Pakistan since the integration of the state of Kalat into Pakistan voiding its independence, and have much stronger will and determination than their Pashtun counterparts (PMAP), however, do realize that Pakistani political and military establishment is much more superior! Dissension and lack of literacy among Balochs, declining foreign political and material support from U.S., India and Afghanistan is gradually discouraging Baloch youth, once highly active in their "cause". Baloch tribes are divided into two branches; Sarawan and Jhalawan. Sarawan and Jhalawan traditionally were two localities that had Baloch inhabitants. Over the time, the geographical landmarks have turned into a tribal identity. Marri and Bugti tribe (exceedingly anti-Pakistan) belong to the Jhalawan branch of Balochs while Raisani (current CM) and most of his cabinet belong to Sarawan branch of Balochs. Jhalawans and Sarawans are traditional rivals. Pakistan has always been able to use this partiality into to its advantage.

Their resistance is much weaker than 2005-06 and from a realistic view point, i think Balochs will give up.

I think Gwadar should be developed with the help of China so it can provide jobs/education for baloch youth, we need development in Balochistan and tribal areas also. The government is so stupid and corrupt, they dont really care and the actions of army always keep harming the baloch people.

You have made a claim, provide evidences which prove that majority of baloch people want nothing to do with Pakistan.

it is bad in some places in other places its not as bad but in most of the places opportunists like mengal will continue to further their personal agenda..i mean the same guy the next day commended punjab assembly for passing a resolution for Balochistan

Balochistan lawmakers hail Punjab Assembly resolution

Speaking on a point of order, provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals Abdul Rehman Mengal described a meeting between Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and veteran Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Ataullah Mengal as a positive step.

“For the first time in history, Punjab Assembly has passed a resolution against human rights violations in Balochistan and condemned the killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti,” he said, adding that provincial Minister for Industry Syed Ehsan Shah had informed the assembly that the people of Balochistan were not against the common man of Punjab. [so its your word against that of the Industry minister Admin Khan]
and guys before comparing BD to BL..you need to realize where Bangladesh was and where Balochistan is geographically and especially now in terms of their relative population .. Pakistan to a fair extent has become aware of this problem, and there is a massive push to recruit soldiers and officers from there and to get Balochis more active in the government by giving them higher posts in the government. Check out that fat guy from BL who was prime minister during Musharraf, that was purely based on strategy of bringing these waderas and stuff into the fold.

Economic uplift though, don't expect it from this government
It's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..

One of my kiliwal is in FC, he told me that they are told to pick up random balochs civilians and beat them severely. He was also saying that army there is burning whole villages of balochs. I cant back up my this claim with evidence, as admin khan would generally ask me to provide it, but is a reality that agencies are kindapping young balochs, torturing them, killing them and leaving no trace of them.
One of ISI man told me that we arrested a mullah who was involved in bomb blasted on shia hazaras. They told hazaras that they had their culprit, if you want it for revenge, then pay us 55 lakh rupees. Hazaras paid it and took revenge by brutally killing the mullah by their own hands...this much is ISI corrupt and out of control (sorry admin khan i cant provide evidence and source for it, if some one dont want to believe it then its his choice)

Sonami Khan is making much noises against Drones but has not uttered a single word aganist Baluch massacre at the hands of Punjabi army.

There are strong speculations that after coming into power, Sonami Khan will repeal 18th amendment to take back the provincial autonomy given to provinces.

^ Not Punjabi Army but Pakistan Army. And he repeatedly said this a million times in his interviews that We must not use our Army against our own people. Whatever the problems are, dialogue is the solution. We can get to the solution on a table. That's his stance you probably never listened to him if you don't know this.

Moreover, what else can he do? He doesn't have the power. The vote bank once he gets elected only than we can ask him that what should he do!!

It is Punjabi Army whether you accept it or not both demographically and ideologically. Rest, when he says talks should be held with militants, he doesn't mean Baluchis, rather he means TTP the worst enemy of Pashtuns having kiled Pashtun eders and destroyed hundreds of schools to deprive Pashtun children of education.

The intention is give Talben Pakistan's strategic asset space.

But currently, Pakistan and US are re-evaluating the basic contours of their relationship in which the drone attacks would be rectified for an indefinite period. Let us see how Sonami Khan then oppose drones once Punjabi military junta reach an agreement with Americans.

Pashtuns are ATM machine for Punjabi army.
