Thank you for being patient. You have a certain thoughtfulness which I appreciate. I know that there are tactical attempts to discredit others and draw you in. Best avoided.
You are right to say that you want to be *out* of that particular thread. Sticking around and joining in will lead to a potentially explosive situation.
OPTIMISM
tor_khan You've started something here with your articles and it gives me a thought. Because we are in a political/cultural trough, we tend to be aware of all the bad things. I'm convinced that even in war and poverty, we must have some good news stories. Maybe the next article you put together, might capture that optimism.

tor_khan You're an intelligent man Amir Jan. I enjoyed the read
.
You asked about a grammar point - and sometimes my mind works faster than my keyboarding, and I make these kinds of mistakes too, so this is just a minor point. It's a common error to put an apostrophe before the "s" when making plurals. For example, it would be "Shias" not "Shia's" (when writing in the plural form). I overlook these things constantly, particularly small words (prepositions like "to", "at", "in" in my own writing) and I can only see this once I've given it a gap. I find that it is always easier to see in other people's print. I could have edited, but I honestly wanted to keep your work exclusively yours.
That said, you made some very valid points and I note this under your article.
