  • Western designs to divide Afghans failed

It is well known that the West seeks to take advantage of a created sectarian tension in Afghanistan to forward their aims. Time and time again, ethnic and religious differences are spoken about, and "pending civil wars." When it is printed in the media, it appears to be almost wishful thinking. Such thoughts. Yet, from the reaction of Afghan figure heads, especially, Mohaqiq, it appears there will be no division at all, but unity against occupation appears to be the result of outside attempt to divide Afghans based on sectarian and ethnic differences. Had this been the 18th century, this would have worked, but today, in the age of information flow, this no longer works. The Kabul and Mazar attacks in fact have backfired on those who sought to forward their aims by dividing Afghans. Mohaqiq is a Shia Hazara who is in close contact with Iran. His comments are below for all to read.

Long before today, even Hamid Karzai has pointed to American Blackwater being behind terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

"Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said US private security firms, including Xe Services LLC, formerly known as Blackwater, are being behind terrorism in the country.

At a press conference in Kabul, Karzai said that US security companies have been behind explosions that have claimed the lives of women and children.

The Afghan president added that they have caused "blasts and terrorism" in different parts of Afghanistan over the past months. "http://www.presstv.ir/detail/148217.html

It would be best to put ideology aside when looking at facts as to who is behind this.

The real purpose behind this attack would have been to divide Afghans, and take advantage of that.

Fortunately, due to the assessment given by Mohaqiq, that is not going to happen. Again, Mohaqiq's comments are both wise and reflect that he has seen directly through to who he realizes is behind this.

Below excerpt is from MK Bhadrakumar's article http://www.atimes.com/atimes/South_Asia/ML08Df01.html

non-Pashtun groups who oppose President Hamid Karzai and are increasingly willing to reconcile with the Taliban. They include the "nationalistic" elements who recently formed the National Front - heavyweights like Ahmed Wali Massoud from Panjshir (brother of the slain former Northern Alliance leader Ahmad Shah Massoud), Uzbek leader Rashid Dostum and Hazara Shi'ite leader Haji Mohammed Mohaqiq. Any polarization on sectarian lines would bury their pan-Afghan agenda.

Mohaqiq, who is close to Tehran, called on Afghans to react "carefully and intelligently". He said the perpetrators "want to trigger a sectarian war in Afghanistan. My message to the Afghan nation is to recognize the real faces of the enemies of Afghanistan and to maintain civil order."

His remarks echoed the statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, who described the incidents on Tuesday as an attempt to fuel tribal and religious tensions and to create instability and insecurity in the regional countries. Salehi alleged that foreign countries are seeking to disturb peace and stability in the region by provoking sectarian and tribal conflict. "

It appears this was the work of the occupation. No militant group has ever called a US media source to make a claim. Lashkar e Jhangavi has been defunct. It no longer exists.

Fortunately, the aim of this attack has been thwarted due to Mohaqiq and Iranian FM Salehi's wise assessment in seeing through that foreign non-Muslim countries were behind this. There will be no sectarian strife. The aims of this have backfired significantly.
