Pakistan will sooner or later pay the price for meddling in the affairs of sovereign nations.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
This is not all that different, in fact not different all than Israel's lobbying via AIPAC. AIPAC has proven links to Tel Aviv, so I dont see why lobbying on Kashmir on the part of Pakistan and its intelligence agencies is all that news making or news breaking. The Kashmir issue is a whole nother bag of worms.
I think a more fascinating case than this is from a video Toramana posted up that I cannot find... it was recent. It was a discovery or dateline special on Daoud Gillani aka David Coleman Headly. That was superb investigative journalism on the part of the narrators. The discussions with RAW about Coleman Headly actually raise many interesting points about the level of cooperation between Pakistan and the US and how mixed up things become. More recently, someone here posted an article that seemed well referenced that showed ISI has multiple subunits within it and the Americans have their own active subunit within it that they attempt to use to monitor the other units.
The problem with these sorts of reports is that they mirror the type of treatment given to folks like Sami Al Arian and other American nationals who are involved in the political system legally but some how somewhere a money trail allows the FBI or the CIA to label such individuals as double agents or foreign operatives. Take for instance the way that the US destroyed the Holy land Charity for claiming it was Hamad affiliated and then conceding, after the damage was done, that the links they generated were suspect.
Most of these guys dont have enough clout of money to fight on their behalf and make such connections about double standards when it comes to their pet projects. Jon Pollard on the other hand has a whole foreign nation repeatedly attempting to spring him from jail for actively spying and passing info abroad to a foreign government.
