    @al-arab
    Sindhis are in less population than pashtuns. The second largest ethnicity in terms of population in pakistan are pashtun. Sindhis have minimum participation in military and beaurocracy...punjabis , pashtuns and urduspeakers are main powerful groups in terms of their presence in military, beaurocracy, business etc..you will see pashtuns as labourer or driver or watchman only because pashtun elites dont represent themeselves as traditional pashtuns, they are part of pakistani system...in pakistan there is competition, oppurtunities are for every one to avail..I am a medical student, no punjabi can stop me from becoming a docter, its just a propaganda that pashtuns are slaves of punjabis. Those who degrade us by calling us slaves of punjabis are haramis.
    Arabs are most racist people, dont use islamic card against me.

      How about we all merge completely? It will be better for everyone with much more progress and end of all blood letting - inshallah as you say. Before 1947 Pashtuns used to travel around all over India as they pleased.

        Pakistan as a nation mirrors a lot of the countries that have gone through a transition this year by removing their corrupt rulers and bringing their security agencies to task, but i haven't seen any sort of uprising in Pakistan other than the ongoing armed insurgency by TTP.

        How come? Is it because the media outlets tow the line? The quality of spoon-fed propaganda? The Intelligence agencies grip on sniffing out those than try to rock the boat (Saleem Shahzad)? The actual threat of military action or paramilitary forces on the street?

        I know the masses are pacifist brelwis and that the country has gone through severe flooding, but still, pakistan has a sizeable middle-class that seems to be content with the way of life. To put things in perspective, I remember there was somwhat of an uprising when iftikhar chaudhry was removed by musharaff.

        But now, there's nothing? corruption is rife and those at the top are considered puppets but there's wholesale apathy. Why?
        I would think that in Pakistan people are too busy providing for their families. They cannot afford to take part in a prolonged uprising.

        As for many Arab countries - their population is low and Arabs often do not do much work anyway so they could afford to spend time in such uprisings. Plus in those Arab countries just a few people and families run the whole show leading to greater anger against those very few.

          because every political entity in pakistan is connected to the state somehow. there are no alternatives.
          There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

            there are many reasons, pakistan is not one ethnic country, while in arab countries, much of the ethnic makeup is about the same. also then there are so many different political parties in pakistan and finally I generally think many people in pakistan have dont care attitude, I guess mainly because of poverty and illiteracy. They only have time to support themselves, they dont really care about what's going on in the country

                    i will tell you why , because napakistan is like israel , they are still slaves in their mind , they are brainwashed and think they are the choosen people of islam .

                    by telling them how a good muslim has to work they are misleaded , for exampel in pakistan a good muslim is not suppossed to demonstrate or take even up arms against a goverment which cooperating with zionist to kill other muslims .or partcipating in a war .

                    most people scream alot , but they fail to realize that this self proclaimed country of islam is cooperating with the nato for full 10 years .

                    well as far as i know if a muslim sides with kafir to fight other muslims , than they become kafir .

                    considering the whole anti islamic propaganda and demagogy in the west ,we can conclude that pakistan the state of ismaeli shias who follow the aga khan a francise of the british raj is still operating in the ways their masters tought them so .

                            Because most of the uprisings is funded by them in regards to Afghanistan, however Pakistan is a double dealer, and will side with anyone.

                                Hmmm...yeah...but Swat should never have joined the 'Islamic state' in the first place - that was a bad move
