Sardar Mohamed didnt know he was gonna be killed. The plan was for him to be "arrested", get a nice settlement and sent into exile with family.

Ahmad Wali Karzai as well as Jan khan, Daud Daud etc were all heavy supporters of the US war effort. Ahmad Wali Karzai provided intelligence for the war in the South.

I do not know too much about this, but all these Karzais have been linked to this war for a long time. that alone is enough to see how they all live in a glass house
