Malalai having a 'thing' for African presidents or men is her personal business. My point was that the whole Noble Prize is mediocre if you can get one just for being Black and not Bush yet represent the same global interests. Obama got one simply because he wasn't Bush which itself explains the political nature of this ceremonial approval of conformists.

Badshah Khan Fakhr e Afghan wasnt a conformist so he never got one. An educated self respecting Pashtana will spit on the Noble Prize just for that fact alone. It makes perfect sense to question the reasoning behind why would a young strong ambitious Pashtana revere a politician, amir, from the first world who has done very little to help her or her people.

If Sasha Obama revered Mullah Omar Hotak wouldn't it make sense to question her reasoning?

And when are you going to do something about the rampant child-abuse and phedophalia in maddrassas?
Toramana, your speaking to a(EmKhan) "British international student" whose dream is to learn from the "Secularist" British. Why couldnt he do the moral thing and study in Saudi Arabia, oh wait, dont the Saudis receive their education from Western education institutions in Europe/America?

Toramana, such people will rade away with the trash, hypocrites I would refer them as. Its a well known fact, that Talibs oppose female education, they dont even consider women as beings, they see them as items of lust that cause sin and must be covered and confined to their homes.

That is the reason why female education was banned in Swat by Fazullah and his painter Muslim Khan.

These Pakistani migrants who would go through any means to get a visa to live in Europe should be the last people to promote Talibanisation of Pashtun lands.

EmKhan like many other like minded Pakistanis, if refused a visa, would be licking the feet of their Angreez malgaray just to stay and enjoy the benefits of a secular system.

While our sisters schools are bombed by Talibs in Swat and forced to marry foreign militants, these Jamiet Pakistanis who live abroad in clean well structured western countries, have no shame for their views.

Lets put the politics aside, a fellow Pashtun has been awarded for her excellence.

I may object to her liking of Benazir Bhutto, for her support for the Taliban during the 90's, however its a good step for our sisters to inspire others.

Not only is this a insult of the highest degree to the Taliban movement, but I am proud of her and hopefully every young Pashtun girl who loves education can idolise this young womens struggle and assure herself she is not alone.

It is far from being an insult to the Taliban movement.

I see no excellence in what she did : being a mentally colonized slave of the west. Everybody can do that.

All deeds are judged by whether they are done fisabililah (in the way of Allah SWT) or not.

In my eyes, a Taliban who sacrified his life killed in action has reached the pinnacle of excellence. His blood is purer than anyone else. Not everybody can do that.

But then again, I do not intend everybody to share my opinions. Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began.

Go to Arabia and do something about the subhumanity on your lands. This is a Pashtun forum...It is not some Arab land.

Universal truth you spoke. You should be awarded the Nobel prize for speaking the bitter truth.

Soldat Amir, there is a saying in Pashto that "Kargha ghwal khwri aow makhoka sandi " i.e., "the crow eats **** and shakes its beak in disgust"....These people have immigrated to the West by their own choice --- no one forced them to come to the West---they enjoy the liberty and security of Western countries (in their home countries especially the camel countries e.g. Saudi Arabia, where they live under pertual authoritarianism and oppression, they live like animals)...

Usually, such people are extremly greedy taking advantage of every benefit western systems offer living in subsidized houses, getting educational grants, best healthcare, ...yet this lot consider the system to be sinful, infidel, and what not---

That day, I watched a discussion between an Arab and few Canadians...I was amused by the discussion and somewhat embarrassed as well...The Arab guy was telling the others "we have come here to contribute to your society ---and you are taking benefit of our skills" ...The rest of the Canadians were apologetic and told him we appreciate your contribution to our society but one Canadian sounded kind of aggressive...He told him "who called you to my country ---who needs you here ---there are hundreds of millions of Chinese, Indians, East Asians, East Europians, South Americans, Africans, etc. well-skilled, adapatable, integratable, civilized, etc. willing to immigrate to this country and contribute to it many times more than you can---why should we have you here---"...

How many of these under-skilled, under-adapatable people do you see returning to their homes and living up to their principles to live pious lives of their choice in their home countries? Sometimes, I think such people are a liability for both societies i.e., societies of their origin as well as the host societies of their adopted countries in the West---kind of poison you neither can vomit nor engulf.

The whole thing is political. Her selection and promotion is political, so are her statements. Shame on those who use our children for their political means.

I pity on her level of understanding and your level of appreciation
NO my littel brain dead friend, the girl is smart she realised that the only way out of missery and poverty is trou education and progress. She is young now but I really think that they way she thinks is good and will lead her to succes. The fact is, she is not promoting any nudity or music or dancing or other things that goes against Islam, she only promotes educations, and says education is also important to girls and believes its the right way to better your life. Why is that so wrong, is becuase she is a girl? Is that it? And about Obama thing, that was really clever and diplomatic of her, what most of you don't realise what that is.
If she was a boy and was talking about building new madrassas you all will be really happy.
