Don't pick the elites but yes most of the people in swat wear burqa. but it is not the issue.
I did not object I just asked what has she achieved that you members like toramana, dazahrojam, admin khan and some others don't get tired of praising her lol. In fact she has done nothing yet. It is just the NGOs and some media sources who have created such hype.

Most of the criticisms here including whom she should revere do not make any sense.First come first, nobody should be suggesting whom she should idolize-be it Obama or Bachaa Khan! In her actions (if not in words) she is following Bachaa Khan's path--promoting education. However,it is still not necessary to be Bachaa Khan's fanatic to do good work!!

EmKhan,your criticism is quite childish and very unreasonable.Education is the best investment that parents would make in thier children.If a voice has been raised against the unjustified destruction of 62% girl's schools in Swat,what's so wrong with that?? In fact,you are thinking too hard and that too in a very disoriented manner-Liberalism and education are not the same thing.In fact, from your posts one can clearly assume that you are one of those 'educated illiterates'-you have degrees but have no ability to comprehend the importance of the same thing (education) for others.

Contrary to what you think of them,the females of Swat have a remarkable passion for getting education-something that is quite evident from the annual merit lists of top female undergraduate schools in Peshawar,where most of the top positions were used to be taken by girls from Swat few years ago.Not only that,thousands of female schools were present even in most remote areas of Swat. However, that is not the case now!And constructing those schools is a big problem now since there is hardly any attention from the goverment authorities.A voice has to be raised and the problem has to be fixed!!!Very few amongst us has the courage and zeal to do it and those who are doing it should be appreciated for the good work.

Also,the way you mix Pashtunwali,Pardah, liberalism,morality,education etc.,shows that you are very unbalanced,disordered,and biased in your thinking about the equal right of education.There are Pukhtaney who observe Pardah,there are those who don't and both types are 'educated' and 'moral' (or vice versa). How are the two 'terms' connected?
