a lil late for "show the tribes we mean peace and not chop off your noses" and no we have to consider not just firepower which they dont have enough of, we have to consider the type of firepower and how difficult the terrain gets in winter.

Winter is worst time for TTP to fight cuz they cant go out their, most of the fighters retreat to camps to regroup where they become an ideal target for air precision strikes..if you look since 2008, the most air strikes are carried out during extreme winter or when the summer is at its peak
It's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..

yes that might be also a reason....but Afghanistan is different during this year, the attackprecentage has only declined alittel and fighting is stil ongoing.
High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

The Jihadis, the Peshawar Seven, were causing trouble on Pakistan's behalf way before any Soviet soldier even set foot in Afghanistan, even when the Communists never were in power, Pakistan was stirring up problems and working against Afghanistans betterment.

Alexander brought culture and class to the region, the British brought modern weaponary, which led to Pashtuns learning to produce rifles from the tiles of British train tracks, the soviets modernised the Afghan army and became a transit point whenever Pakistan blocked access to trade, now tell me, what did the "jahilun bring" besides Arab customs that most of Afghanistan left behind in the past.
My friend, your a sell-out. Talk to the ordinary Afghan and explain how you support all foreign invasions. Tell them it was for your own good and everything "Afghan" about you is backward. You will get back-handed.
