Daud Khan and the rest of his family were assassinated by the militant Afghan communists. What was the reason they did this?
The implications were drastic.
It was made by a cabal of criminal Parchamis and the Mujaheddins mostly from north Afghanistan (backed by Pakistan?). They killed Daud Khan in the palace and took his family and every member of that family to Dehmazang prison north of Kabul where they were abused, beaten und killed. They also raped their women several times, including Daud´s children. One of his daughters after she was raped and beaten was walled in.

Militant communists were the only ones who killed Daud Khan and his entire family.
You should provide the source which indicates this unusual never-before-seen cooperation between Communists and anti-Communist Mujahideen.

Ethnical ties and relationship! Communist generals and officers of the communist army had close ties to Mujaheddins. I remember one of our neighbour whose name was Ferozan and a general in the army. He supported a lot of Mujaheddins against Soviets. Other high ranking officers were general Bakhtari, Daud Zadran and some other communists. Anti-Russian, anti-feudalism and anti-royalist sentiments brought enemies to one plate together.

Give me your sources and evidence for this claim that you make that anti-Communist Mujahideen joined with Communists to go against Daud in a never before seen alliance in the history of Afghanistan.
Facts on the ground remain the same that the militant communists killed Daud Khan, and sparked all this war. They subsequently supported Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
The Mujahideen were just the reaction to the action perpetrated by the Militant Communists who today have morphed into Militant Democratics
These militant Communists/Democratics or simply put opportunists are the root of wars that have been waged against Afghanistan.
Khalqis were a fraction of Parchams. They also created alot of trouble but they didn´t or couldn´t kill Daud. Unfortunately, the thread was cleaned, otherwise many of the older Users had posted some good stuffs with good comments.

Militant secularists/communists assassinated Daud Khan because despite him being a moderate secularist, they were not happy with the fact that he was moving Afghanistan closer to Muslim nations, including Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Iran (nations were Muslim in name). Now, the point is is that this direction was far better than what the secularists wanted.
There is no question about Daud Khan's political leanings which were secular, and I am not here to discuss the pros and cons of secularism versus Islam. The point I am making then, is that it appears he was not secular enough for the militant communists/secularists which is why they killed him.
These militant communists/secularists did not even want Afghanistan to have relations with superficial Islamic nations (only on surface).
These relations with these superficial Islamic nations would have been beneficial to Afghanistan, and thats the point here.
They did not want it, and were willing to go against social norms. They spurred the Mujahideen movement to form. The Mujahideen were simply a reaction to foreign intervention, not the reason for it. These Mujahideen previously wanted to be left alone, and there would have never been a Hekmatyar, Masood, Sayaf, Rabbani had there not been a Taraki, Najib, Karmal, and Amin who supported Soviet war against Afghanistan in the first place.
The Taliban were a response to the infighting that occurred between the Mujahideen groups and the rampant crime that took place after the defeat and withdrawal of the Soviets, and in fact had nothing to do with that era besides that.
So what is fact is that Daud Khan was not secular enough for these individuals, and they did not want him to have any ties at all to the Islamic world.
I can´t get your logic. On the one hand you condemn secularists beeing infidels and whatever and on the other side you are a fan of a ''secularist''. Daud was neither a fundamentalist Muslim nor a secularists. He was a dictator who wanted to keep Afghanistan as a feudal state with a central power. The minorities, specially Uzbeks and Tajiks were no fan of him. This general Ferozan was a Tajik who couped him with the rest of the communist and Jihadist gangs. You tell us here stories, not facts.
daoud brought the communists into power in the first place. a tragic comedy.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
Is it possible that the KGB orchestrated the whole thing using their agents in various local groups? After all Daud's departure paved the way for a Communist take over and an eventual Soviet occupation.
