i just finished reading this book. it is in print for pakistanis to read and understand how pakistani ISI betrayed afghanistan, betrayed A S Zaeef to americans, pakistani politicians used afghanistan, and only minority honest pakistani cared for afghans.

o pakistanis! wake up and see how you have betrayed and double dealt afghanistan, just like your government is betraying you every day!
if you read this book you too will see the honesty and truth - you will see why some afghans say napak-istan.

and assuming imran khan is immune from ISI and other dirty political influences, his truth is like a stick trying to stop the flow of pakistani ignorance size of Ganges (Ganga).

with respect to pakistani pashtun brothers here, i do know decent pakistanis (all from the pashtunkhwa 'agencies'), because their decency sees the betrayal.

      ^A very accurate assessment.

Pakistan's betrayal of Afghanistan will be known in history for ever. It is written in ink, and can not be erased or disguised in any way.

Pakistan has supported the US war and occupation of Afghanistan with at least 4 airbases for drone attacks and major supply routes. Without Pakistan, this war was not possible.

50, 100, or 1000 years from now, all that has happened in this past decade will not be forgotten. History matters a lot. Mirwais neeka and Ahmad Shah Baba are remembered for defeating those who had ill intentions. This is why history and the recording of history is important.

The world changes very fast, as nations and economic blocks which were once considered prosperous have collapsed. China is not a power that appears to have war on their mind.

When this war closes, Afghanistan will have many years to develop the country, its foreign policy, and diplomatic ties. China's rise as a regional power and their policy of "soft power" (non-interference) works in Afghanistan's favor.

But, history remains history, and can not be erased. Pakistan can never be considered a reliable ally/friend of Afghanistan simply due to the fact that Pakistan was part of the "so-called war on Terror."

In regards to Imran Khan, I am not too sure about him at this stage. All I know though is that the only person who can win the next elections is the one who pledges to end Pakistan support for the US war and occupation of Afghanistan. Only that person will win. No one else can win. I cant say who it will be. It could be Imran, it could be Nawaz. Bottom line is if they want to stay in power, and want to continue for the next election they will do what the people, and the region wants..
