There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

We all want North Africa to prosper and we all want French Muslims to live free of discrimination. My question is why Afghanistan when presumably for you, there are more localised priorities?

Shariah continues to be open to interpretation. The Taliban represent just one version of it. The debate about what is right/wrong when it comes to Shariah has not yet been concluded. At best there are regional pulls and players.

The Taliban are a mixed bag and support for them is not even. For too long there have been 'outsiders' who for their own political reasons have wanted to shape what happens inside Afghanistan by claiming support for one faction or another. That is where is some Afghans are cautious. Put another way, Afghans whilst supportive of their Muslim brothers, don't feel the need to readily interfere in Morocco, Jordan etc. That 'favour' has not always been reciprocated.

By the way welcome. This Forum is a family.

actually We all want Pure Shari'ah, but the Taliban have corrupted Shari'ah, they mix Wahhabism with Tribal customs.

Same, when I lurk their website, it never mentions such things, rather that it looks like they are fondamentalists who reject any other source of legislation than Qur'an and Sunnah. Also, it is not only Talibans who fight against the invaders in Afghanistan, this is a common misconception. There are also Uzbeks mujahideens. But Uzbeks do not have the same traditions as Pashtuns. So if you have a proof that they use a corrupted version of Shari'ah, please show evidence of it.

You just contradicted your earlier post then. And yes they contradict the Shari'ah. And yes there are Uzbeks and Tajiks, but that doesn't mean the Taliban dont follow corrupted Shari'ah

proof that they contradict Shari'ah ? They kill Muslim civilians and they do suicide bombings which harm Muslim women and children. This contradicts Shari'ah/

It is 100 lashes and it will be 100 lashes until the Day of Judgment. Parts of the Hadithic sharia are open to interpretation but Qur'an Sharia at least should be implemented from Indonesia to Morrocco, from Maldives to Kazakhstan. There is no discussion about it. The question is : is Qur'an Sharia currently implemented in Afghanistan ? No. So muslims have the right to fight at all costs to reestablish Allah's sovereignty on Afghanistan.

There's another thread where the Sharia is currently being discussed : http://www.pashtunforums.com/religio...-sharia-21276/

Just to point out I didn't dispute the Qu'ran. The debates about Sharia stem from the sources of Sharia that come from secondary elements e.g. jurists/scholars and their interpretations of Hadith/Qu'ran.

Saudi, Iran and the smaller Gulf states inbetween claim to have legal systems based on the Sharia. That would be their claim; not mine. There are degrees of interpretation over various matters. Many Muslims both inside and outside the region would debate these interpretations.

It should also be noted that both on ground and in the wider international community it is accepted that the Taliban were created and supported by the Pakistani ISI who were created and supported by the American CIA. That challenges their image of being simple agents of Islamic puritanism, if you like.

Don't forget the CIA, gets it's funding from congress. Congress gets it's money from loans, borrowed from China.

the image if not propaganda; here is a video showing it.

                              Taliban Beating Woman - YouTube

where in Shari'ah does it say you can beat a woman in the street? ....If she commmited zina they don't beat her but they lash her. This is not Shari'ah..

There is a reason why these teenagers were arrested by Talibans. They must have done something bad. Plus these teenagers are not dead. I don't buy your propaganda. Talibans arrest teenagers. America killed 500,000 children in Afghanistan. Even as a non-muslim, I should support Talibans because America is the cancer of this world and Talibans are the chemo.

Allahouma ansar al mujahideen fikolimakan. Allahouma hfadhoum. Ameen, thuma Ameen.[/QUOTE]

But why do you believe the Taliban's propaganda? how do you know they were abducted by the Taliban for a good reason? Why are they threatening the lives of these boys who have done no crime?

There hasn't been 500,000 people dead in Afghanistan the death toll has been maybe 50,000 and most of those deaths have been done by Taliban suicide bombs and IED attacks on the roads of Afghanistan.

The Taliban are killing more Muslims than the kufar are, how can that be apart of Shari'ah?

Muslim women and children should be at home, there are rules in Islam in which a woman cannot leave her house without a close grown up relative of masculine gender. As for the children, they should be with their mother. Especially, in times of war, they all should be at home and men should all be mujahideens. If all people followed these rules, which are directly from the prophetic tradition (sunnah of prophet muhammad (pbuh) ), they wouldn't have been killed. I'm not gonna cry for people who don't follow Islam. You are just misleading people trying to picture Talibans as murderers which they are obviously not. Eithey way, they wouldn't get the support of the local population.

That's not true at all, Khadija (ra), Fatima (ra), Umm Salamah(ra), Asma Bint Abu Bakr(ra) and 'Aisha(ra) all used to go out of their home and participate in society. There is no rule in Islam which says they must be locked up at home. They used to go into the town even without Muhammad(saw). The Shari'ah says that she cannot TRAVEL abroad without an Adult Male relative; but traveling and going around your town or village is not the same.

Taliban are murderers and they violate the law of Allah(swt) which means then munafiqeen. They don't have much support, only a few tribes support them; if they had local support then they would have won all of Afghanistan years ago NATO first came.
