Afghan-US Strategic Deal to be Signed Ahead of Bonn Conference

    Tuesday, 23 August 2011 18:18 Last Updated on Tuesday, 23 August 2011 20:31 Written by TOLOnews.com

Afghan and US officials are making efforts to cut the strategic partnership deal ahead of the Bonn conference, the Daily Telegraph reported.
The Daily Telegraph newspaper writes that Kabul and Washington have reached a consensus that American Special Forces will remain in Afghanistan at least until 2024.
An article published in the Daily Telegraph newspaper described Karzai's government as corrupt and lacking credibility.
President Karzai has come to know that after the withdrawal of international troops from Afghanistan, Afghan security forces wouldn't be able to maintain peace and ensure security, the article said.
But Head of Government's Media and Information Centre dismissed the report, saying the security transition process to Afghan forces is irreversible.
"We have full trust in our security forces. They could handle the security responsibility transitioned to them. The process will last for several years," Head of Government's Media and Information Centre Hakim Hasher said.
While officials in Kabul said that talks on US-Afghan strategic deal is still in progress, the article writes that Kabul and Washington are pushing to ink the deal ahead of Bonn Conference.
"Both sides have made their suggestions and still talks are on the level of a committee which has been assigned by the government under the lead of Afghanistan Security Council and foreign ministry," Mr Hakim Hasher said.
After the Afghan government called for support of the United States for a stronger and equipped army, Washington laid out the initiative for formation of permanent military bases in Afghanistan and said it would prevent insurgents from returning back to the country.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

So this guarantees that the war will continue to at least 2024. At the minimum

You can not make a single Soozan in Afghanistan and you talk about freedom? You are not free, and you never been free in the last 200 yrs. Because if you were free, the Brits would not have divided you physically, the Russians would not have divided you mentally, the Pakistani would not have divided you psychologically where you strap bombs on your freaking heads. Free people do not kill one of their own, they do not find the need to bicycle bomb, they will not send their children for suicide missions, and surely they won’t strap bombs to their heads. You are not and were not free. Pashton Freedom is akin to Nazi Humanity- non existent and a mere illusion. You were broken in half and divided. And then your divided lot got further divided into ikhwanis, commies, talibs, nationalists, ghilzai and so on and so forth. And you call this freedom? Afghanistan has been under foreign occupation one way or the other since Zaman Shah. It was after Zaman Shah that Afghanistan could not afford the costs accrued by its government. Hence it had to turn to Brits, or Russian, or Arabs to finance itself. Hence your division by the Brits, and Russia. Today you are ruled, used and abused by Pakistan and you call this freedom?

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE BUDDY.

Only way out of this age old occupation is through an Afghanistan that has solid institutions. But its you retards and moron who, delusionally thinking that they are free, stand against construction of anything positive for Afghanistan. I want the US to stay untill Afghanistan gets to build all of its public institutions, an economy, and an education system. Thats our only way out. I want the US to stay untill the time they are asked out by an Afghan govt—like Iraq and not by turban bombings.

Globally US is competing with China, Russia, and Iran. Afghanistan becomes a vital strategic asset.
Regionally Iran, Pakistan, India, Saudi and Russia are competing over Afghanistan

Can you calculate/imagine/estimate THE TOTAL WEALTH of Iran, Pakistan, India, Russia, US, Saudi, and China?
Now try to do the same for Afghanistan.

Now compare them. Which one is Greater? Afghanistan looks like a beggar in comparison.

      Then make this conclusion:
Just like a beggar does not have a say over his state of being, Afghanistan does not have a say over the state of its affairs. Foreign powers have managed the affairs of Afghanistan for over 200 years and its going to be so in the foreseeable future. Just like a beggar's dissatisfaction or protest does not amount to anything positive, Afghans' protests and dissatisfaction would also not amount to anything positive. If the beggar wants to improve his existence he must find a job, take responsibility, and act according to the society. In Afghanistan's case if it wants to improve its state it must build an economy first before anything and then start acting according to the norms of international community. For example not rent out your country for terrorists and hoodlums.
US is by far the biggest economy among them all and it has the best economic model to help Afghanistan. From modern management methods to IT and global economy US could be of IMMENSE help for Afghanistan. A short term partnership with the US is the best opportunity for Afghanistan to make its economy and then would be FREE like other countries and could maintain this FREEDOM indefinitely. Either this, or Afghanistan would be condemned to repeat its history. Logic and reason over emotion!

Hence Death to Turban bombings, Long Live economic Jihad!

well no ****, pal. people don't fight if they are free in the first place.

and "asked out by the afghan govt"? LOL so now the kabul regime can make those kind of decisions and tell superpowers to stay or leave? first u say afghanistan is a beggar with no power, then ur saying afghanistan has the leverage to somehow change a superpowers foreign policy? what the

and i like how u think some kind of economic partnership is dependent on thousands of these swine hold up in permanent bases in afg. like if there were no bases, then it would be impossible haha

dont talk about freedom when u want to legitimize the occupation of afg by these swinebergs. keep fetching them their chai.

You are an idiot, you have no logic. First you must learn how conflict erupts and how conflict is suppressed.

Afghanistan is a tribal society. Tribal societies are not structured or designed to have central authority, tribal societies are structured to be autonomous. When central authority is introduced to a tribal society, conflict will erupt, this is unavoidable.

When Al qaeda had training bases in Afghanistan, they not only left the people alone but they were paid accordingly. Mullah Omar was ordering them around and Osama had pledged allegience to Mullah Omar and acknowledged his emir momenin status. They knew how tribes operate and they knew how to avoid conflict with a tribal society. (in this case humbleness is intelligent)
The US on the other hand are too arrogant to respect anyone(arrogance is blind here). They have bases in Afghanistan, but they perform disrespectful night raids regularly on the people, They order Karzai around and acknowledge him as a puppet. He asks them to stop performing night raids, they tell him "know your place slave." They pay a Few Afghan elites who obey millions and kill ordinary poor afghans for fun and call them collateral damage. They imprison Afghans and torture them at military prisons. The party here dont leave the people alone but directly challenge them.

Do you see why one is liked and the other is hated. If you want America to succeed, then she should realize "whats up."

IF osama trained men to attack the west or did 9/11, what respect did that show for afghanistan? he must have known there would be reprisals. IF he sat in abbatobad for years whilst afghanstan was being bombarded, how humble and respectful is that, of the tribal afghans?

We are talking about pre911 faye and also most afghans don't even know why Americans are in Afghanistan.

AFG21 actually lives in Afghanistan, I would say that gives his opinion some credibility.
