A mosque being built in the Ruhr region of western Germany was set on fire earlier this month and right-wing extremists are the main suspects.


However, no one has been arrested or charged yet.

The Islamic Community Milli Goerues of Germany (IGMG) began the construction of the Dar-ul-Ekram Mosque about two years ago, the IGMG news agency reported.

No one was killed or injured in the incident.

The IGMG says they intend to repair the mosque immediately.

The central administrative body of the IGMG, which was founded in 1995, consists of Muslims of Turkish origin who are followers of the late Necmettin Erbakan.

German Christian school expels Muslim

A nine-year-old Muslim student has been expelled from a Protestant school in Germany because she did not want to attend Christian religion classes and ceremonies.


According to the German news agency RP Online, instead of being exempted from Christian religion classes, the student, whose name is Zeinab, was expelled from a Protestant school in Muenchen Goldbach, Rheidt.

Her parents have complained to the authorities of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Zeinab's father says that when the family registered Zeinab for the nearby school, they were surprised to discover that, unlike other Christian schools, their Muslim daughter would be required to attend the school's Bible classes.

The 75 Muslim students of the school are all required to attend Bible classes and Christian religious ceremonies.

Zeinab's parents have brought the case to the administrative court of Dusseldorf, and it was decided that she would remain at the school but would be exempted from attending Bible classes until the court issues a ruling.

Last year in Jerusalem an ancient mosque was burnt by Zionist settlers. Hardly any news coverage. Last year a church converted into a mosque was also burnt down by yobs. Very little coverage.

When it is the other way round it's a different story...

If the person who killed 80+ people in Norway was a Muslim, the Press would have declared him as terrorist. For now though, he is just an Assailant ,Attacker (Reuters), Gunman (BBC, CNN & Al Jazeera). Looks like 'Terrorist' is a name reserved for Muslims? The US Dept of State calls it an "Act of Violence", Not an "Act of Terrorism".

muslims shouldnt even be in europe, they should be at home. ironically for u, it was mostly non religious forces that drove these people from their countries and into europe. hate filled murderous non muslims that drive their populations to leave. syria being one example right now.
