A member of Afghan House of Representatives on Saturday claimed that Mullah Mohammad Omar, the Taliban leader, is in Afghanistan and her guest.

Homa Sultani, an Afghan MP representing Ghazni province, criticised the government over being reckless about her remarks saying the Afghan government hasn't paid any attention to what she said of receiving the Taliban Leader Mullah Mohammad Omar in her house.

Some lawmakers suggested that a delegation should be formed to visit the leader of the Taliban at Homa Sultani's home.

"At the moment Mullah Omar is in Afghanistan away from ISI and Pakistan. He is our guest and with us. His message is that he is ready for reconciliation and peace talks," Mrs Homa Sultani claimed.

Insisting on accuracy of her remarks, Mrs Sultani said if she is proved wrong she is ready to be punished.

"If my words are proved wrong, then I am ready to be punished for making a big lie on a big issue," she said.

Finally some of the legislators suggested formation of a delegation to verify Mrs Sultani's claim.

Shir Wali Wardak, an Afghan MP representing Wardak, said: "If the leader of the Taliban has come over to someone's house for a party, we should set up a delegation and as soon as possible we begin our negotiation with him."

The remarks came as Afghan security forces have consistently emphasised that the Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar is living in a safe haven somewhere outside Afghan borders.

Homa Sultani, member of the Afghan Parliament, has claimed Mullah Omar is her guest and lives in her home. This is not the first time she reveals her contacts with the one-eye fugitive Taliban leader. A few weeks ago she had claimed that Mullah Omar had given her a letter in which he had requested President Karzai to reconcile with him. The Taliban spokesmen have always rejected the claims of any negotiations; though the international media still reports that some peace talks are undergoing somewhere. Afghanistan’s opposition parties, particularly the one led by Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, have termed peace talks with Taliban as ‘unacceptable.’ President Karzai, however, has always invited Taliban for peace talks and his latest statement in this regard was a request to the Taliban to stop their fighting in respect of the holy Islamic month Ramadan.

‘At the moment Mullah Omar is in Afghanistan away from ISI and Pakistan. He is our guest and with us. His message is that he is ready and ready for reconciliation,’ the lawmaker from Ghazni province told the Parliament, according to local Afghan media. (See: Tolo News, Benawa.com [Pashto]).
The Parliamentarians, instead of asking her why she did not try to stop him from continuing his suicide war, formed a committee to investigate and visit her home after she insisted that she was ready for any punishment from any court if what she has said turned out to be a false claim.

After Osama bin Laden was found and killed in a compound close to a military academy in Pakistan’s Abbottabad, it was widely thought that Mullah Omar was also hiding somewhere near a military academy in Pakistan, probably in Quetta. A short time ago the Afghan intelligence had claimed that Mullah Omar had been moved from his hiding in Quetta to an unknown place. If that place was Ghazni, the Afghan intelligence had no clue about it.
It is hard to believe that the fugitive leader would hide in a female parliamentarian’s house in Ghazni, to be her guest. But unbelievable things always happen in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Bin Laden’s hiding place was also unbelievable. The account that Huma Sultani gives of her contacts with Mullah Omar suggest that the bad guy has fallen in love with her and has decided to leave Pakistan and reconcile with the government. Her love though does not seem strong enough to take him directly to the Parliament and tell them: ‘Look! I have brought him here. Hug him and finish the war.’
President Karzai has recently lost two of his most powerful and useful men in the south: his half-brother Ahmad Wali Karzai and his advisor Jan Muhammad Khan. Mullah Omar can prove a good replacement. But Huma Sultani claims the President does not want any reconciliation.

‘If more people get killed, the President and the government will be responsible because they are not interest in reconciliation,’ she told the Parliament.

It was all over the American news, taken very seriously !

I could TELL instantly she had severe
mental problems.

She claimed among other things, that the
liberal Mullah Omar didn't mind her going without hijab
in his presence among other ridiculous claims.

Yes drugs or some psychosis - or
perhaps medications for her
delusions of grandeur and/or pathological lying -
may be magnifying the negative effects
on this person.

i realize the chances - already at 0 % -

The Muslims of Afghanistan do not see through ethnic perspectives as the seculars do. I wouldn't put her being a Hazara as any impediment to the story being true. I am confused.

One thing, she is annoying Karzai and the US, and well, the way I look at it, whoever they try to say is mad, thats when you have to ponder about it.

I was thinking the same thing.

I doubt he is in Kabul, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that Sultani is lying or is delusional.

What this proves to you is that Karzai and the US do not want peace on Afghan terms.

The reason being is that they want to continue the occupation and the war.

It should be very clear how much Karzai is collaborating with the US in committing murder and war crimes against the Afghan people. This much should be very very clear.


Regardless of the validity of this, what is clear is that they do not want peace on Afghan terms. Hence, they are still desperately trying to impose an occupation on Afghans, and this will never be tolerated at all.

There will be peace in Afghanistan, and the US will leave. There are no talks going on.

Her being a Hazara means she is likely a Shia.

Look at it realistically :
WHY ON EARTH - ! - would Mullah Omar,
a strong Sunni choose HER to negotiate with or through ??

The other thing one must realize is that
in too many countries, being an MP or
being a Senator or Congressman is
considered as an automatic guarantee
that said person is
highly respectable.

That's what tricked some observers into
believing her !

Whereas let's look at the type of individual
in the West who runs for office :
usually the lowest moral caliber.
Look how many in America are forced to resign
due to overinflated egos leading to
pathetically immoral behavior.

So why trust anyone BECAUSE they are
a "lawmaker" - this title is way over inflated
THey are STILL puppets of strong powers behind the scenes
in EVERY country.

There is no Goverment of God or according to God's Laws.
So what else does one expect but a bunch
of juveniles running around so impressed with themselves
for being "elected" to some pitiful "office" where they
will not DO GOOD
but be tools of evil.

The woman is a fraud.
