Insurgents 'kidnap and kill' Afghan child, 8
AFP: Insurgents 'kidnap and kill' Afghan child, 8

    (AFP) – 1 day ago
KABUL — Insurgents have kidnapped and brutally killed the eight-year-old son of a local policeman in Afghanistan's volatile southern province of Helmand, the local government said in a statement on Saturday.
The Taliban denied the claim but provincial authorities said the child was snatched on Friday in the Charkh Andaz area of Gereshk district, and killed after his father refused to comply with the Taliban's demands.
"Insurgents told the child's father to surrender to them with his police vehicle and staff," said the statement from the Helmand governor's office.
"The child's father rejected the insurgents' demand and they violently killed his child."
Taliban spokesman Yousuf Ahmadi rejected the claim as propaganda.
"As far as we are concerned, we haven't done it. This is propaganda by the puppet Kabul government," he told AFP by telephone.

you are so eager to jump like Niazi and accuse Muslims of doing this. You never see Niazi talking about the US crimes against Afghans, but he jumps on something which is purew propaganda and false. US, NDS, and their KPF militias are behind this.

There was a Wikileaks cable which stated that they were going to resort to staged things such as this.

Taliban could be lying to cover up their crimes just like the IMperialists do.

WikiLeaks and the ISI-Taliban nexus | Peter Galbraith | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk
Of all this information, the most troubling concerns the duplicitous double dealing by Pakistan's powerful spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence, or ISI. While some of the intelligence seems wildly implausible (surely the ISI did not plot to poison Kabul-bound beer, an enormously complex operation with limited pay off since US troops are not allowed to drink alcohol in Afghanistan), the WikiLeaks documents show a continued relationship between the ISI and the Taliban. This is not surprising. In the 1990s, the ISI helped create the Taliban and Pakistani support was decisive to the Taliban's capture of Kabul in 1996. The US has known since 2001 that Pakistan did not break its ties with the Taliban as President Pervez Musharraf had promised President Bush. After all, Mullah Omar and his close associates have been in Pakistan since 2001 and it is not plausible that Pakistan did not know where any of them were.

I have to say it is both hilarious and rather disturbing that certain people will continue to promote lies after they have been found to be false.

Things like this are usually done by people with no political affiliation. I believe it is done by someone that had a dispute with the police officer. I personally know people that have gone through similar kidnapping situations but the end result were not this gruesome. The most that happened was a beating. If it was Taliban ro some politically motivated group was behind this, why did they pick this certain police officer and why would they want this police vehicle so badly, it does not make sense.
It is likely the police officer did something to this group that killed his son. I am perplexed why he would not turn himself in to them to save his son. He obviously knew they were going to kill him but it is very baighyrata of him to sacrifice his son to save his own skin. Killing the child was baighyrat in itself. Sick people.

These wikileaks cables are basically US intelligence communications. Just because they are wikileaks does not mean they are fact. Some of cables have been speculated as intentional leaks by the US military for disinformation purposes.
