    Shayesta,

Your interactions with folks may be limited to the elitists as Lemagaak says because this area, Surobi is between Jalalabad and Kabul. Look at their view of Mr. Bin ladin per Al Jazeera (the reporter notes this was a view he came across widely):

    http://english.aljazeera.net/video/a...315358960.html

And her point, regarding how long Sherzoy would last if the US left is valid.

Here are some more articles supporting the one gaak provided regarding his corruption and how the locals, even the tribalized locals who benefit, do not like him:

    http://www.pajhwok.com/ps/node/116907

Then take a look at what governer Nasratallah Arsala says here about Sherzoy at 10 minutes 50 seconds into the video. He speaks clear Pashto and is a JALALABADI and is amongst the leaders of the people:

    http://english.aljazeera.net/program...034452109.html

So I think this is proof enough.

My point above is that huge pockets of people loved Osama Bin ladin as well and equally important governmental members and representative of the Jalalabadi Khans do not like Sherzai.... If your measure is what folks on the ground are saying... why were they deprived of their right, by force and fiat to host the forme as a guest and oust the latter as imposed? In either situation its about power and gun powder talking. The key question everyone should ask themselves is: who best represents the will of the rural folk (i.e. the masses and the throngs of Afghan Braves that defended Afghanistan and her blessed soil).

Lemagak, with all due respect khory, celebrating a person's death is not an action consistent with Islamic values or even that of Pashtuns..it's quite savage and something I would instead expect from wild beer-drinking Anglo-saxon landaghars and the bootlickers who look up to their sordid culture.

Our Noble Prophet SAW instructed us not to use bad language against the dead. Their time is over and they will be judged by God for their actions so let them be.

Sorry. It's my weakness. I see these people and the damage they cause and my blood boils. Also these pfers are more than willing to call everyone else an agent of this or that... They celebrate deaths cuz it's to their and not the Pashtun peoples gain. It just gives me pleasure to see them realize their money making scam days on the back of innocents is over.

If all the culprits die, everything will be OK in Afghanistan or will new ones replace them?

A new beginning doesn´t start with the departure of "old structures" but with education for the ordinary people, the rebuilding of a civil sociaty and with building up lost and newley needed infrarstructure.

                  An example:
If we Afghans could combine the power of mind and body to plan and build a canalisation system, sewage treatment plants and provide running and pure water to households, then 50% of all the problems that Afghanistan has today would vanish. The things mentioned are not rocket science but doable by every 3rd world country!

But as I see almost everywhere, we are too busy with BS!
                  The only constant is change.

Thank you for elaborating what you think about Afghans aka Pashtuns.

Do you have one of your "self-hating" days?

Yeah what I'm saying is that let's not sink to the level of the Kuffar and their loyal apostates, who routinely prove themselves as extraordinarily hypocritical blood-thirsty barbarians cloaked under a hideous notion of so-called progressiveness and modernism which to them means whoever doesn't agree with their dirty mentalities needs to be either murdered extra-judicially or sent off to torture chambers.

I'm all up for routing out this sick poison called globalization headed by white, lewd anglo-saxons and their hideous subserviants. Real Afghans will never stoop down and accept their ideologies of filth and cunning for as long as we are alive.
