Where did tribal heritage come from?
According to Encyclopedia Irannica, the Avestan people as well as all other "Aryan" people were tribal people.

I highly doubt that Pashtun tribalism came into existence out of nowhere or because of Islamic influence.

Tribal names like Zadran and Mangal date back to pre-islamic times. Mangal as a name dates back from the times when Afghans were Hindus. Mangal is the God of Mars.
Soghdians didn´t have a written culture, Bactrian was a graeco-bactrian alphabete and their culture and tradition was lost after they were defeated by the Yuehze (Khushans).
It happens that cultures lose their language and alphabet. Ask an Egyptian if he is a real Egyptian and if he says yes, ask him why he cannot read and write in hyroglyphes. That point is really far fetched my friend.

I do not have sufficient information about your last point. Can you elaborate more?
