pakhtuns of pakistan i dont know very lost
its like you can do anything to them they just
take it like dead animals like pock stick in their eyes
like dead goat but no movement they take it
i feel very sad for my people so dead......
Once again, lets talk about this with sound logic:

                      1) Mr. Bin Ladin, amongst Afghans was known as a compatriot in the war against the Russians. It was not as if he was some evil entity in the eyes of all the people. In fact, this article clearly denotes that in the Eastern provinces where he fought combat, he was still viewed as a hero:

                      http://english.aljazeera.net/video/a...315358960.html

Many in the Muslim world viewed Bin Ladin as a Robin Hoodesque figure that was left a world of wealth behind to fight first in the theatre of war and then to lead an insurgency worldwide. The common retort is: "great way to lead an insurgency from a mansion." Now we know it was hardly a mansion and we also understand that it would be foolhardy to run into a war against drones out in the open when you are outgunned and outmanned. He pretty much earned his stripes against the Russians with putting himself in the front lines.

                      2) If the issue is that Pakistan deflected the US onto Afghanistan, per Musharrafs commentary, we have to confirm that he actually knew Bin Ladin was in Pakistan. It has been noted that some elements of the ISI probably knew he was there... but other elements (that were arrested) also helped Central Intelligence to kill him. There is just as much plausability to the idea that various folks (Kiyani, Musharraf) etc were not likely to know his presence there if his ISI helpers did not want that to happen.

                      3) American commentators have now noted that it was a rather smart strategy to hide in plain site in Abbotabad. The whole world assumed he was in bajaur or other places.

                      4) It was not the Pashtuns of FATA or NWFP calling the shots there. I assume that they would have preferred that no bombing occur in Afghanistan either. In fact, many unfortunate Pashtuns were to answer Sufi Muhammads call to fight in Afghanistan to, in their view, defend their brethren, and found their deaths there.

But this is exactly my point... this sort of ahistorical argumentation does nothing to wake up the masses. Many of the KP Pashtuns either care nothing about Bin Ladin versus assuming he is a CIA stooge or made up entity (some have generated the false narrative of an operative named Tim Osmond) versus having no say in the matter.

did you see that some american, deep sea, treasure hunter is going to look for osama's body and take a hair from his beard to have it dna tested, lol? he was on tv. has all the gear for deep sea surviellence and is hoping a navy guy, who was at the burial of osama, to hand him a clue as to the bodies whereabouts.

any one has information about amrullah saleh's intelligence regarding OBL hideout somewhere in Mansara PK?
a british newspaper article suggests meeting (few years back) of karzai and musharaf where musharaf got upset at karzai when amrullah said OBL being in quetta, then in/around mansara.
