  • Why is the media not covering the protests in Afghanistan?

There are protest going on in Afghanistan, and only Press TV is covering it

I don't see any other media outlet covering this.

Only when when it effects foreigners, do they cover the news as in the protests against the UN compound in Mazar.

Because they only cover protests in favor of democracy.

but its almost like they are telling Afghan people this : "If you want us to cover your protests, then do the same thing you did to people at Mazar UN compund"

      thats what they are saying.

Its funny how the other day, after the Kabul Hotel incident, that Amnesty International (a supposed neutral organization) wanted the Taliban to face war crimes. The US night raids, airtstrikes, murder and rape does not constitute war crimes??

They said this after some foreigners (working for them) suffered. SO their sense of justice is only tied to themselves.

If you go on Google News or turn the TV on there will be something about Libya or Syria. That has been the case for the last few months. It is the same recycled reporting on the same events being drilled into our heads everyday.

No mention of human rights abuses (far worse in nature) elsewhere in the world...

It is not hard to find the double standards in the Western media and as i've said before, every media outlet regardless of where it is based has an agenda. Use multiple sources to base your opinion and not just the mainstream.

Al-jazeera used to be famous for its reporting all the facts, now I think it has changed, or been bought out by some outsiders. Their news is very filtered now.
