    Taliban chief leaves outfit
Parachinar (Pakistan), June 27 (AP): A senior commander of the Pakistani Taliban said today that he is splitting from the group to protest attacks against civilians, a rare criticism of the militants by one of their own.
Fazal Saeed said he is forming his own militant group, Tehrik-e-Taliban Islami, and will focus on fighting Nato troops in Afghanistan. The Pakistani Taliban, or Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, is mainly focused on battling the US-allied Pakistani government.
Saeed, leader of the Pakistani Taliban in the Kurram tribal area near the Afghan border, accused the group of targeting civilians in suicide attacks and bomb blasts in mosques. “We have repeatedly protested over killing unarmed and innocent people in these attacks, but no heed was paid, so we are splitting from Tehrik-e-Taliban” Pakistan, Saeed told The Associated Press by phone from an undisclosed location.
Thousands of civilians have been killed in attacks in Pakistan. The Pakistani Taliban often deny responsibility for attacks that kill large numbers of civilians, but they are widely believed to carry them out.
It’s unclear whether Saeed’s decision to split from the group is related to plans by the Pakistani army to launch a military offensive soon in Kurram. The army has cut deals in the past to avoid targeting groups who fight in Afghanistan as long as they agree not to attack Pakistan. Saeed is believed to be a close ally of the Haqqani network, which the US military believes is the most dangerous militant group battling foreign forces in Afghanistan.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

its hard to believe when ive heard similar stories numerous times and all turned out to be false.

this is called devide and conquer and the same tactics has been tried in afghanistan saying "hekmatyar and taliban are fighting over control blah blah blah".

        its all just plain desperate,

              re earlier GYE:

              I think you are right.

All the media harps constantly on this type of thing in the current situation.

No one is allowed by them to actually "get along" or "cooperate"

That is anathema to the govt officials whose hidden hands control
these "media" outlets, feeding them whatever stories they want
to cause demoralization of the population
and exultation of Westerners at their supposed "victory" so soon at hand.

THAT day will NEVER come, no matter how many lies are drummed up
and pushed on locals and foreign audiences alike.

the ttp are bringing themselves down with their own tactics, same thing happened in iraq when the sunnis turned against aq because of their disregard of civilian casualties.

the ttp have claimed responsibility for bombing funerals in the past

do u think all the commanders in the ttp will be ok with their tactics?

The TTP was a flop from day one.

Mohammad Naik Wazir, the founder turned on Pakistan, a few days later, he was hugging a 11th core Pak commander in Shakai(Shakai Agreement), and stated the Taliban are the Atomic bomb of Pakistan.

A drone killed him a few days later.

Baitullah Mahsud was very angry, over the fact that Abdullah Mahsud turned his guns on the Pakistani government, according to sources, it was Baitullah who tipped off the police of Abdullahs where abouts in Bolochistan. Some say Baitullah suspected Abdullah of being a CIA agent for his anti-Pakistan stance, funny saying this since Abdullah Mahsud's brother is a Major in the Pakistani army.

Then we have Mullah Nazeer, who with Gul Badahur split from Baitullah on the grounds, that Pakistan is a Muslim country and Taliban should not target Pakistan Army.

Then we have the case of Zainudeen Mahsud/Misbaudeen Mahsud/Turkistan Bhittani, split from Baitullah's led TTP, because they were offended by his Anti-Pakistan stance, and turned their guns on him in DI Khan and Tank.

They are a bunch of losers, complete loony's and have no policy but just to go around causing problems and fighting eachother.

Obviously, these Talibs are easily bought, Pakistan will pay each commander to turn on another.

that could be possible but it doesnt mean they turn their guns on eachother while pakistan is doing extrajudicial killings and doing this mass torture campagne..

i dont know what worse, blaming everything on ttp and hope for the best or ignoring the facts while staying biased.
