Isn't it better to have a strong army containing of all ethnic Afghans anyway as compared to Taliban? Once we manage to have a well maintained army then our civilians 'll have no reason to oppose where as the Taliban are clearly not nation's favourite.

A junkie is a narcotics addict but today most people use it for heroin addicts because some of the other narcotics are becoming socially acceptable. But they are all junkies to me.

No one wants to join the ANA except rejects from societies because the afghan government is not considered legit. What do you expect if you want to build a government from criminals.
