Rocket attack kills six in Afghanistan

A Pakistani military base along Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
At least six people have reportedly been killed and several others have been wounded after Pakistani forces fired rockets into an area of Afghanistan.
The Monday attack took place in Kunar Province.
A spokesman for the Kunar governor told Press TV that the dead and injured are women and children.
He added that Pakistan has fired over 200 rockets into Afghanistan over the past few days.
Pakistan says the rocket strikes are in response to what it calls attacks against its territory from Afghanistan.
The US invaded Afghanistan with the official objective of curbing militancy and bringing peace and stability to the region, however, after 10 years the region remains unstable and militancy has expanded towards Pakistan.
