The last shot looked like a stinger shooting down a soviet helicopter

The taliban have downed loads of aircraft, but i think they have a lack of Surface to Air missiles. But that hasn't stopped them bringing down heli's with ZPU1's, DShk's and good ol' RPG's. I heard that whatever stingers were left from the soviet days have battery packs with a certain life expectancy which are outdated now rendering them dysfunctional.

Had the taliban had a credible SAM's capability, this war would've been over by now as you can see that with every pitched battle, NATO immediately calls in for air support the minute they feel the heat.

40+ technologically advanced countries with elite special forces fighting the Taliban and they have to call in button pushers from 3,000.

Amazing what happens when Allah is on your side.

depleted uranium is being used in the building of war machinery as it strengthens them. they are putting it in the rotors of some helicoptors, so when these are destroyed and left laying about, anyone playing in them, around them or with the parts, are polluted with this du.
same with tanks. they found it is too difficult to get du pollution out of these vehicles, so they leave them laying about.
read about how they left this crap all over iraq.

It's because frankly...we are bored with the Taliban. So soon as we see or know about more then 1, drop a tiny bomb and rinse and repeat.

You're pretty pathetic if you think every action of US/NATO needs to be excused. This is a war and you are someone living in another country then Afghanistan all together. You have no say. (As far as US policies and things that are done...because anything from you is "water under the bridge.")

I should say that is one hell of a "technical difficulty."
