That happens often. The ANA only look to numbers and sizes of guns. I don't mean that tongue-in-cheek or anything.

If there are 4 ANA [typical small squad out doing what they do...] and 10+ Taliban...every ANA will unload their full clip into the Taliban...but then would probably get into their truck and drive off.

The ANA lacks motivation to fight. It is irrational for them to risk their lives for a government that is corrupt and does not care about their people. Why would they fight and risk their lives. Their death is usually remembered as that of a traitor. Their is no incentive for them to fight, there is no incentive for them to die, that is why you are their on the ground doing what they are supposed to be doing.
