But here is something from the movies: I can't wait for the day when the world will have a robot police force. We already have robots working for us in the military, but not with any sort of intelligence.

Imagine a world wide police force with no "caring" just preset rules. If you are identified as Taliban then, you'd be as good as dead.

Also, I'm glad people world wide are working at building a true artificial intelligence. It'll be a force to be reckoned with.

But yea, that's more movies then reality, although people say we will have our first AI robots in 20 years or less...but their functionality will be limited.

and you said special forces never mess up LOLZ

It was a parody of 9/11. Dufus. You notice the side was blown open (or cut open) and ejector's seat missing? Yea...lol. If not, look at the pic with nose-front and notice the 2 silver bars in the front window. Those are metal-faced whereas just about everything in the plane gets painted with some sort of something to prevent...other things LOL. I believe (can't every say "know" or anything because that would be releasing intel and frankly it's just a very very good guess) those are the 2 rods the chair sits on for easy ejection.

Yea, it's used as a life-support device amongst other things. Do you know anything about planes? Both fixed-wing and helios use the same.

On a side note, believe me, I was confused too. Also, not ejection like you think of in a fighter jet ROFL...ejection in more that the seat can be removed. Not sure, maybe the seat has storage options or something.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not all for death when stateside. But when in the thick of things (and since I regard my employer as top-notch in any job I do...) I'd rather a Taliban die by the minute then to risk the lives of our own people.

And I know you'd say the same of your own people and such...but you're on the other side of that line.

No. I'd be giving you intel...even if it's freely available on the net. I can say general things and general knowledge but to go into specifis...that'd be just wrong.

in march, 2010 the us army said that more soldiers died from suicide than from enemy fire in both iraq and afghanistan combined. approximately 27% of returned soldiers will have mental health issues.

MDresden , this is coming from one American soldier to another.

You joined this board a month and a half ago and have not contributed anything of value. With time to make over 800 posts in under two months while deployed I doubt if you are even contributing much to the war effort in your current job status. Last time I checked we don't have an MOS for Internet Forum Troll.

You are so enamored of 'special ops' why don't you go PT, ruck march, learn Pashto + Dari then try out for one USASOC's units, get in the field, and see firsthand if we are really winning or not, instead of talking **** online.

You are acting like a fool, like a dork with no life. Do you realize that every soldier is a representative of the US Army and the United States?
