Conventional? Their equipment is lightyears beyond the old russian/iranian equipment the taliban use.

Here, I'll retype guerilla warfare for you again:
Guerrilla warfare is a form of irregular warfare and refers to conflicts in which a small group of combatants including, but not limited to, armed civilians (or "irregulars") use military tactics, such as ambushes, sabotage, raids, the element of surprise, and extraordinary mobility to harass a larger and less-mobile traditional army, or strike a vulnerable target, and withdraw almost immediately.

BTW: Snipers are there when the intel is confirmed, for-sure and the enemy is a terrorist. Snipers shoot cans off of mountaintops on roads for fun...I mean they do a job like any other soldier does.

Snipers aren't cowards. Their job description is to use a single bullet to kill an enemy from a hiding place or long distance.

See, this is talking about people like the Taliban. No decent training in military arts...mainly civilian...and they aren't trained combatants (more then a 5 minute course on how to maybe connect wires- HAHA!!!)

Courage? They take 5 minutes, light a fuse or prepare a poorly-made trap and run away...or they sit on a mountaintop to pull a release switch or radio controlled item (which we probably monitor from very far away) and they run to a neighboring qalat or village...all turning it into a cat and mouse game and giving us more information on Afghans supporting taliban or Afghan Taliban.

I mean face it, every day there's a lot of new data for our computers to mine and make descisions from I'm sure.

Never mind the fact that you contradicted yourself in this post with the above...

          Just remind me

What are you doing in Afghanistan? Why are you there?

Matt Dresden is drawing lines in the sand, Snipers aren't cowards, even though they hide and try to avoid detection and attempt to evade being caught.

But Taliban are "cowards" for setting up a trap which often surprises their enemy and leaves damage unexpected.

It''s not hard to see how Matt contradicts himself, How he defines Cowardice and Bravery is based on what serves his interests. Let's not get pullled into this nonsense; there's plenty of things more cowardly about the American Military, than the Taliban; even though they're both pretty cowardly in their own way.

so American soldiers lives are collateral damage? You apparently don't value your own lives then

the reason for most of these wars is to make the owners of war machinery/banks richer. like the claim that iraq had weapons of mass destruction, being a false flag reason, whereas america went in and used 'weapons of mass destruction'. now we have iran and it's supposed 'nuclear weapons programme' which would probably be found to be a false flag bs, as well. they talk about it though, as if it is already 'fact.'
what could be more cowardly than to be murdering innocent civilians from drones?

Globally, Haqqani / "the Group" / Al-Qaeda / Taliban are listed as Terrorist Organizations. That means a kill on site option is available to any country worldwide.

and yes, i realise how hard it must be for you to acknowledge that you are a puppet for the people who REALLY control america. if you get infested with du, die or be maimed, do you think they will care?

hmm ok fine but when they were fighting the soviets they the taliban were listed as freedom fighters and liberators by people...but was it ok because the usa disliked communist russia?

can you not see the hypocrisy in this?

i couldnt give a toss about the al qaeda as they are the reason america are in afghanistan in the first place...so by all means do what you guys must to them...but i mean the pushtuns have never harmed america in anyway

they are defending their land against what they see as invaders...its common knowledge that if you do wrong to them they will rise up against you...
