Believe me, I wish. I realize how the double-dealings go on and that it really is just one big game. The afghan people never been into something this deep so when they scratch at it...they scratch at the surface.

Believe me, the Taliban, the Group, Al-Qaeda, Haqanni, are all probably being surgically removed as we speak. (Not any official operation to wipe them out that I know of, but overtime they lose more and more members.)

Of course foreign deaths will rise. We're not just going after Taliban Leaders, Haqanni, etc. etc...we are going after the members now as well. We realized how easy it is to pay someone off in this country that (I'm guessing) we believe the Taliban numbers grow day to day.

What that does, is create more targets since we aren't targeting just leaders anymore because of the ease of use the TB has of paying people off.

The billions spent are to build up Afghanistan and ensure the security forces are willling to root out and kill all taliban/al-qaeda/haqqani/group.

you are avoiding the question of buying out afghans. you said the taliban have recruits because they buy them off, with the near trillion dollars you have spent there why havent u been able to buy out the taliban?

Because taliban have motives, we want them dead. We probably buy other...things...that help us.

You seem to forget that the Taliban made this into a guerilla-style warfare. The best way to remove those that fight like cowards is time and surgical steel. Over time people will become laxed or give up information and over time the Taliban members and leaders will be killed silently and peacefully. That's how you combat guerilla warfare. You stomp down and stay there for a good amount of time.
