They killed many Hazaras and Uzbeks. Shia people were digged alive... what Dostum and his men did to these animals was legal and part of badal (Pashtunwali knows it, too and is accepted). Ear for ear, eye for eye. That´s what Afghanistan is about. You can believe that these Taliban were much worser than Dostum´s men to them. Taliban took Shias eyes out, burned them alive, skinned them ... etc. Dasht-i Laili was just a punishment to Taliban.

The Tajik forces had Russian and Iranian officials ordering them . When they reached the outskirts of Kabul, the Americans told the Tajik forces not to enter, but Russian and Iranian officials ordered them to enter Kabul and take control.

PS Pashtunwali does not sanction the death of unarmed individuals who have surrendered.
