  • Interview with Taliban (2001)

I am sure that by now most if not all of you know that the Taliban offerred Bin Laden for trial and even offerred to send him to Saudi Arabia for this. The Americans declined the offers and continued with the invasion of the country.
The interview goes into detail regarding Osama, the Bamiyan statues, sanctions, cruise missles and some other topics of interest.

    Part 1.

    Part 2.

    Part 3.

This interview is old dating to March 2001 I believe.

The white man is Barnett Rubin (New York University)
The Talib is Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi (represenative of the Afghan foreign Ministry)

As far as I can see the Talib speaks sense in what he says and tears away what we have since been fed by the Western media. The white man also gives a very educated view. A very stimulating & informative interview.

A well recommneded watch for anyone who considers themselves educated.

The issue was not only Bin Laden. The entire Al-Qaida network, their training camps, their studies on chemical and biological weapons (f.ex. Anthrax) that could threat the entire western non-Muslim world. If Bin Laden was delived back to Saudi Arabia it hadn´t much affect as you could see after his death. He would be valueless and just a waste for the time Americans spend to get him if his organization would kept untouchable in Afghanistan. His organization and all the other shadow chiefs were still living in Afghanistan. Beside that, Taliban are anti-human creatures. They killed and massacred many thousand people, forced other people to do things that not even a dog would do. That Afghanistan was attacked was the best solution NATO and US could make.

The talk of chemical and biological weapons is hypocritical when that is exactly what the US supplied to Saddam which he used against Iran in their war.

We all know the stories of the US renting out such dubious weapons and possibly using them although I wont go into detail regarding this.

Regardless of your rumours of such weapons the US objective was to capture Osama. That is what they told everyone and that is what is being discussed in the video.
Albani I didn't know you could watch a 40 minute video in 6 minutes.

That does not matter. It´s not about Iran-Iraq war where both countries were supported with weapons and trained fighters by US and CIA. They played wth both groups. Here, it is about Al-Qaida and Taliban who claim a non-islamic civilisation as enemy. Iran and Iraq did not claimed US as worse enemy and they did never used any kind of weapons to threat US. But Al-Qaida did it and showed it various times with videos testing their ABC weapon studies on mice and dogs. All of them recorded in Afghanistan. 09/11 was not the first attack of Al-Qaida against America. It was the most important attack for both sides but Al-Qaida destroyed many war ships of Americans, attacked many countries in Africa and killed a lot of Americans and their diplomats. Bin Laden self told Al Jazeera he provoked America to attack Afghanistan. No matter how. It was though to deliever OBL to Americans but Mullah Omar self was against it. All the royal tribes of Omar were supporting him and high ranking tribal chiefs had very close contacts with Bin Laden. Mullah Omar and OBL even married eachother´s daughters.

            YouTube - ‪I knew bin Laden - Part two‬‏

Those videos are not new. people watched them several times and used them to undermine their views on Taliban and US. The video above is from May 2011

The Taliban did not declare the US as its enemy. The US declared the Taliban as an enemy for not giving up Bin Laden.

The reasons for which are discussed in the video.

It is obvious you have not seen the video. If you want to rant against the Taliban or Al Qaeda make a new thread.

You are dragging this away from the inital topic which is the content of the video. Watch the video first and then give your views about the video. Not other things.

Yes, I will not allow him to hijack the thread by getting into a drawn-out discussion with him.

The Taliban hosted Al-Qaida. When US called to demand OBL Taliban rejected it and called him as their noble guest. Beside that, they were cooperating with Al-Qaida, providing them with materials, weapons, manipulated soldiers, ground to train future terrorists and a safe heaven from the US who already had attacked Al-Qaida. The Taliban called as much about destroying US and reconquer al-Andaluse as Arab extremists do. But you again mask off from the facts that Taliban massacred people because of their ethnicity, religious belief or language, culture. The video I posted is very new and explain your questions.
