I don´t know why the topic starter cries. ANA is Afghanistan´s national army. Awarded by Karzai and his government and they are proud of it. So whatever they do, they do it for Afghanistan, the nation and the government. At least there are some calls for another government and another future.

Instead of arguing for arguments sake don't use your so-called intelligence in conflict with facts, you will get nothing but more ignorance out of it.

        Manzareh,

I hope you are in good health.

I don't think you are aware but unlike Punjabis and Sindhis, nearly every Tajik or Parsiwaan uses Pashto words, and knows the basics of Pashto. For instance, you daily hear Tajiks in Afghanistan talk about Loya Jirga, the Masharano Jirga this, the Kasharano Jirga that because they are required to do so, they have no choice. Take the currency bills for example, they have Pashto written all over them. A Tajik can't become a businessman if he is illiterate in Afghanistan, because historically all the currency bills are in Pashto! While the kids in Pakistan are forced to sing a Farsi national anthem, in Afghanistan, you sing it in Pashto! Pashto is also enjoys the status of a national language. Now apply what I just said to Pakistan, where we are twice the population, yet we have no Pashto schools, and as days pass, we are deviating from our language and culture. Take a look at Osho's thread and his observations when he visited Southern Afghanistan, according to him, all he heard and witnessed was Pashto. In our Pashtunkhwa, unfortunately, finding a Pashto sign is rare and when someone finds a sign in Pashto, they usually pose and take a picture with it because it's hardly found. Pashtuns on both sides should be working on unity, not pointing out each others flaw. It's sad to see you and Graveyardofempires at each others neck, and ready to slice each others throats. Both of you should be ashamed of yourselves. You are both Pashtun/Afghan, yet falling into the traps of your enemies.

Also, we need to be realistic. Pashto in Pakistan has no role at all while in Afghanistan it's required to work in the government. Don't believe me? Take a look at the job requirements, they clearly state "Pashto and Dari required". When you, if you ever, visit southern Afghanistan you will quickly realize that 'Pashto is thriving, and boy was I wrong'. Don't judge Afghanistan based on Youtube. More and more Pashto channels are launching, and if you talk about the entertainment industry Tajiks sing in Pashto and take pride in it. The rest, I think Shayesta khor said best. Oh, and nearly every political in Afghanistan is fluent in both Pashto and Dari. Don't you remember the Afghan presidential elections? You even had a Hazara, Bashardost, debating in Pashto. I'll leave the explanation part to her, Shayesta seems to be good at it.

I dedicate this song to you, it's been sung by your Tajik brother.

        YouTube - ‪Taher Shubab Pashto New Song 2011 - Dastan - HD‬‏

You can't judge Afghanistan by it's state right now[although it's improving]. Corrupt N/A war lords are in power, while most of the Pashtuns are fighting in fierce opposition. This is the N.A officials taking revenge on Pashtuns, because during the Taliban regime, nearly everyone was forced to speak in Pashto, and Pashto only. The aforementioned was the direct effect of Kandahar serving as the de-facto capital for the Taliban, where Pashto is spoken, written, and understood by all. In fact, you might not believe me, but nearly every Tajik I know can speak both Pashto and Dari, and they are mostly from Kabul. Take what I said for what it's worth, but I have no reason to lie. After all, Kabul province is Pashtun majority.

That's all Manzareh. Good luck with everything. I hope we can improve our status in our Pashtunkhwa and Afghanistan.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

but a meer sentence ago you sounded so proud of Dari and now your proud of losing the Dari as more Pakhtun schools are being built. make your mind up

a meer couple of sentances ago you wer talking about how afghanistan is becoming less dari influence....Fact. and now your proud of a pashtun country having a dual language...Fact.

Plus youve just admitted its not a pashtun country.. HERE IS THE DIFFERENCE; Your proud and will settle for a "shared country" whilst people like me wont settle for that because we believe our 60 million pashtuns of the world are good enough and deserve a country that doesnt have to be shared with anyone, you people have double standards, on one side you call pashtuns in pakistan names for having anything to do with urdu/punjabi and then on the other you think its ok to mix yourselfs so much with dari people to an extent were you share your national language with them. but obviously we all know why..its not because you wish it to be a shared country with dari zubaans its because you dont have a damn choice thats why lol.

Your point is illogical, you dont need evidence because you think not even a single person from pakistan died fighting for what they thaught was right?? something sinister was behind all of them. you have 0% respect for any dead person that died that was from pakistan, you speak for all of them as if you new each of them personally, you dont even count them as humans.y? its because of a psychological disorder...its called 'racism'

Manzareh, if you are running out of words then it doesn't mean you should put words into my mouth so you can keep arguing for arguments' sake. And I am by the way impressed of your two month old niece being able to communicate, but just for your sake I won't quote you line for line:

Dari influence is in Tajik majority areas so I have got no idea why the influence should be stopped there, but Pekhawer is a Pukhtoon majority and historically Pukhtoon area so why has Pukhton influence fallen back so painfully? I dare you to find Pukhtoon areas in Afghanistan which got more Dari influence than Pukhto, and since you claim you have been to Afghanistan then I dare you to name me those place where you have seen Pukhtoons being Persianized in their own majority areas? I never was proud of Dari, nor proud of losing it and nor did I say we are losing Dari. I said that Pukhto's status is increasing day by day, and an example is that you wouldn't find one non-Pukhtoon in Kabul who cannot speak Pukhto. Despite of all the hardship we face today, I am amazed that regardless of our situation we have made Pukhto much more important than we could have ever imagined! But what hardship is Pekhawer facing, mate?

Nor did I ever claim Afghanistan is a Pukhtoon country, it's merely a Pukhtoon majority. Punjabis are majority in Pakistan and yet Urdu and English are official languages, not Punjabi. In Afghanistan Pukhto at least did become a national language after all. And me connecting to Afghanistan got nothing to do with my pride or arrogance, it's got to do with facts and a fact is that that's what I am, an Afghan. It's you who think you are too good to share a land, not me. And regarding Afghan Pukhtoons calling Pakistani Pukhtoons Punjabized, do I have to remind you of how many Pakistani Pukhtoons call us Persianized? And that also despite of our national language, national anthem, political language usage, economical usage, musical fame (Pukhto songs by the way are becoming even more popular than Dari ones), national performance, national customs, and God knows what else? And we got huge number of Dari speakers because of which we share national language, but on what basis did Pakistan choose a Dari national anthem?

And we got no choice than to share our land forcibly with Tajiks? Mate, every single leader in the past had the option of going for an independent Pukhtunistan, which never happened. There were only talks of Loy Afghanistan but hardly of Pukhtunistan, which is a big, big example of our wish. Even if today we decide to break away from North of Afghanistan then we don't fear Tajik resistance or interference, unlike Pakhtunkhwa who will have to go through bloodshed if you even dare speaking of separation from Pakistan. Despite of our state, we got much more option than you could ever have. And about me not respecting Pakistani lives lost in Afghanistan, I have always believed that every person should die for his own country. Fair enough if they want to give support but any foreign feet on our soil will eventually lead to disasters, and with Taliban Pakistani government proved why it cared for Afghan war.

And if you keep on moaning about status of Pukhto in Afghanistan as compared to Pakhtunkhwa, then if you don't believe ask the following Afghans who have visited Kabul not too long ago; Admin, Lail,a Zahed, Feroza, Angaar, Edris and these are just a couple I remember for now.

I agree with you. You raised a very good point in another thread that it is not true that pashtuns have always ruled afghanistan. Mughals, ghaznavids, ghories and all other dynasties before hotakis were non-pashtuns.
I have always trouble in dealing with pashtun shop keepers, waiters than non-pashtuns, they are short tempered and dont know how to communicate with their customers in civil manner...they dont realize that it is 21th century and that they are no longer rulers

But is not not about ruling or not ruling. It´s more baout their extremist way of pride which you can question.

You have forgotten that Nadir Shah not only destroyed the entire Hotak tribe that fled to Pakistan but also destroyed all lands, fortresses and many more ... and many were taken to slaves who later served Ahmad Khan Abdali ... as slaves such they were forced the boy to his 14th birthday to slavery. But that´s your right as an individual to dream. I won´t stop you

You dont want people to put words in your mouth yet you think its
perfectly acceptable for you to do so. it doesnt work that way.
Pekhawar should be 100% Pashto, but its not because Indic culture is
taking over, its a discrace, you go anyware in pashtunkhwa and people
dont count in pashto anymore, they counthe reason for this is because we
dont have our own country, the pashtun areas in pakistan are only areas
nothing more they still have to follow national rules, national language
(urdu) and such, and if they are not forced to, they are overwhelmed with
indic dominance from songs, to movies, to sports stars because they are
                                part of their country.

We as pashtuns dont need this current afghanistan as it is, why should we
be so hungry for land and sacrifice our unique identities, afghanistan is
land of pashtuns so why is some of the land in afghanistan were ther is
no pashtuns called afghanistan?? it shouldnt be. your asking me to find
pakhtun areas in afghanistan, shayesta every area in 'the land of
                                pakhtuns' should be pakhtun.

Your 100% afghan, that makes you the root to the downfall of pashtuns as
your yeilding to pashtun identy being shared with
dari/farsi/iranic/persian whatever you want to call it. you cannot be
blind to this by letting your ego get in the way and arguing with me,
unless afghanistan becomes a pashtun country, you cant say its pashtun, simple as that. we need a pashtun country and parliment to maintain our race, its now or never.

You compare the acheivments of pakistan with afghanistan and as long as
you can say something positive about afghanistan in which you can ony
pick negative things about pakistan in that same subject, your happy. it
shouldnt be like that. why limit yourself to pakistan. you speak ov our
issues like some compettition as if "my team (afghanistan) is better than
your team (pakistan) na nana nah nah" get this pakistan beef out of your
head, all the issues that you have will be resolved by having a pashtun
                                country.

in refrence to your secound last paragraph please remeber this.
Afghansitan is a so called pashtun country its a completly different
scenario, in KP they have no choice but to be pakistani because they need
to belong to a country, why should they leave a punjabi country to join a
farsi one? it doesnt make sence. If your parliment and population was all
pashtun then ther would be no problem in joining afghanistan until then
ther is no need for bloodshed seperating from a country into a unmarked one.

you give examples of afghans in refrence to pashto, Edris is a pashtun he
cant even speak pashto yet he can speak dari, same with laila, you find me 1 single full pashtun in pakistan that knows urdu but not pashto. i dont no
feroza but i have witnessed her speak in dari here and not pashto..i guesss that speaks for itself.

thanks for sparing me the quoting script palarva.
