If you wanna call it "Ariana" might as well call it Loy Iran. Since both those names are the same.

Open your eyes bro.

so what, its a fact we are related to persians, both our languages are iranic languages. do you know that Herat, farah badghis and many other parts of present day Afghanistan were known as Arya? Even the persian Achamenid empire had province name Arya which is the same as today's western Afghanistan, so this name is not alien to us. I can show you a map if you don't agree. What's your opposition to name Ariana other than the fact that its is related to Iran? Should we throw all our history and facts just because Iran is now shia and not our friend anymore?
Show me map. What does Western Afganistan got to do with the other parts, and KP?

We have our own history/art/ culture, but since Pashtuns (Afghans in general) are enemies to Pashtuns(Afghans in general) we don't have our own identity. We must rely on other people to tell us who we are.

Btw, Mesopatamia had lands in Persia, but no one callas Persia East Mesopatamia.

That Persian empire only lasted a few centuries, it doesn't anything.

Mesopatamia/Assyria was also parts of Western Iran, that is why I brought it up, before the Persians. I could bring you a map by Ashoka's empire does that make us Indo?

All am saying is Afghans have their own unique features, F Indo-Aryans, were Afghans and have our own identity.

If you love Aryans/Persians so much, your just like the Pathan who loves Punjabies and Indic's.

Calling it Ariana, might as well bring back the the Persian empire. The same empire that lasted only a few centuries.

Nope Afghanistan will remain as it is, thank you. Those Pashtuns who are not happy in Pakistan can always move to Afghanistan and we are more than happy to welcome them. The rest are worthless neither are they wanted and nor is their land, which will only be a burden.

the same Afghanistan, that is in constant decadence since their modern borders were drawn to them by the British?

That doesn't make sense at all. You want Pashtuns to be disunited, and the Afghan ones to be one with Parsiwaans, and their fellow Pashtuns as a burden.

Pashtuns and Parsiwaans in modern Afghanistan sure progressed a lot since 1890. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Not really Afghanistan was on a much steady path had it not been for the useless Pashtunistan/Durand issue and the Cold War.

Afghanistan has alot of potential, we have seen more development in the last one decade than large swaths of Pakistan has ever since its history.

Why should Pashtuns who aren't happy with Pakistan give up their land, and move west to Afghanistan. Doesn't that show defeat to the Punjabies?

Peshawer was also used as a capital for Afghans.

first of all take those poor afghanis suffering in pashtunkhwa camps then the rest will follow.
why would someone leave his land to its enemies?
can a true pashtun do this?
pashtunkhwa is ours and we live and die here. You can call it pakistan to please your friends but for us it is pashtunkhwa nothing more.

They are even a burden on Pakistan, they contribute less than they take from Pakistan, they are just a strategic liability just to keep the rest of Pakistan intact. But for Afghanistan they are of absolutely no value.
