  • WATCH:How the Taliban came to power

Lets clear this up once and for all. Please fast forward to 4:33 and watch onward, and you will understand how the Taliban rose to power to stamp out crime. Its a fairly accurate portrayal of the events. 2 teenage girls were raped repeatedly by a criminal warlord. Upon hearing about this, the Taliban rise to power, as people look for someone who can give order and justice. The parallels with today are striking.

Which Zaeef Ghudal? the one who lived in Islamabad and was stripped naked by them once they saw no use lol?

You complain about Propagandist and here your spreading false information about the Taliban.

Taliban came into power by ISI and Pakistan Army, when they took over Kandahdar, ISI set up there, even during the winter periods Saudi and Pakis use to go hunting there, plus Babar and Col Imam of the Pakistan Army and ISI stationed there too, Why dont you mention this buddy?

What about the Darol ul Haqqani? That Madrassah is what made Mullah Omar, and its known as a ISI hotbed!

What about operation escape where Americans were informed by Pakistan Army, that over 6000 Pakistani personel would we airlifted from Qunduz before the Americans attacked.

You like to spread your false lies on this forum but not all of us are that naive, most here have lived and seen what Taliban are, unlike you who cant even speak Pushto and never been to Afghanistan.

Have a great day, by the way, no Afghan is going to accept a Talib-led Government, jsut remmeber that, only the Pakis want this, read the words of general keyani, Haqqani Talib groups are his strategic Assets, what more insulted can one get.

i was just reading about that airlift from kunduz. 6000 is a slight exaggeration, from what i read, but the pakistanis are said to have flown out their own military, taliban and alqaeda with american permission. supposedly the pakistan government was only going to take their own men from the area. 'airlift of evil' wikipedia.

I don't doubt the talib movement arose due to insecurity and injustices but to attach some kind of divine quality to their leader is fantasy stuff as to make him out to be somewhat more holly than he actually is.
My signature explains Mullah Omar all in one. LOL!

The tyrant visions these things to make him unchallenged in the view of the public, its a tactic well used by the clerical order.

I like this kind of documentary.

But Timbaktu : NO ! St Paul had visions of being taken up to some level
of Heaven he thought maybe the 7th but "I knew not where" - something like that he wrote.
He never claimed any special information which led him to fashion
future Christianity after his belief that Jesus was the son of God and part of God.
I am a little hazy on what he saw up there - I will have to look it up
                  to be sure.
But I think it was more of a reward for him to be taken out of the body
to some higher plane than a lesson for him to fashion Christian dogma in a certain way.
If I'm wrong, sorry. It's not my particular field.

But as far as Mullah Omar's alleged vision:
I am the type of personality for whom that gives him much
MORE credibility. I believe him ; he wouldn't lie about such a
                  sacred topic !!

Someone like him would never dare to even think of such a thing.
                  There ARE charlatans who might.
But they are more people like Fake Pirs to gain followers.

                  I'm sure it's true.

Maulavi Jelaluddin Haqqani told me something a bit similar
                  that happened to him.
I won't give the details to respect privacy.

But it's CLEAR that Allah [swt] years ago ordered these leaders to do what they did.

                  It was NOT by accident.
OR worse, in SOME cases, people's egos pushing them out into leadership roles.
That's a different personality type by far.

These leaders both are distinguished by their humility.
Humble people don't broadcast about fake visions from the other world to direct them.

Yeah, it was people like you who sold yourself for a chance to kiss the backside of Americans. You must love it when English people in London call you bro Even though they are not Muslim, you probably start blushing I suspect LOL. btw, Are you Muslim?

You complain about Propagandist and here your spreading false information about the Taliban.
This is pretty factual. Go and call National Geographic, and tell them they are spreading false information.
Taliban came to power due to the rampant crime which was going on. You think Zaeef is making stories about crimes such as killings and rapes.
What about the Darol ul Haqqani? That Madrassah is what made Mullah Omar, and its known as a ISI hotbed!
Your ISI talks really takes it beyond imagination to ridiculous extents. Go and join Saleh. You know he wants Waziristan to be bombed out of existence?

You like to spread your false lies on this forum but not all of us are that naive, most here have lived and seen what Taliban are, unlike you who cant even speak Pushto and never been to Afghanistan.
Quetta is Afghanistan. I see that you recognize the Durrand line. thats why you don't care about the bloodshed of people in Afghanistan proper. You and a few others are the naive ones no one takes seriously. And why don't you go and learn pashto? How come you cant speak it?

Have a great day, by the way, no Afghan is going to accept a Talib-led Government, jsut remmeber that, only the Pakis want this, read the words of general keyani, Haqqani Talib groups are his strategic Assets, what more insulted can one get.
Fight your own battles for you ideals. DOnt expect Afghan blood to be shed for your wicked selfish goals. Stand up to Pakistan instead of with Pakistan. You sound like the typical phatan LOL

the phatans showed their true colors. Its nothing unusual, nor is their reaction. Secular liberals existed even then who were involved in crimes at that time too, they didnt want to listen to any Amir . The Taliban is just a name, it has existed in Southern and Eastern Afghanistan for hundreds of years.

Ahmad Shah Baba also was called Amir Al-Mumineen. whats the issue? Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) can come to peoples dreams. This is not unheard of. A person who stands up against injustice and crime has a lot of credibility. Im guessing ANP-PMAP Achekzai (would have) and Ahmad Shah Masood (did) allow this crap to go on, and were busy fighting for their own selfish goals.

There is nothing you can actually say that contradicts anything. You can only pass your personal opinion with nothing to back it.

I didn't notice that laughing on the floor emoticon before
That's MEAN to sneer at someone's TRUE Vision.

Maybe those who scoff at visions or divine
communications are simply JEALOUS that THEY don't themselves
receive them....that's what I have noticed across the board.

I haven't been following too many of the discussions here for awhile
I noticed this word "phatan" a few times but may have missed the
                          explanation of the meaning.

Could you explain ghundal ? Sorry if you have to repeat ; I have been too busy
                          to keep caught up here.

Back to Amir al Mominin: that's interesting that Ahmad Shah Baba ALSO held this title.

Important to know in order to have the current term in proper
                          historical perspective.

By the way speaking of fighting against injustice toward innocent girls,
Mullah Omar deserves a lot of credit.

Especially when juxtaposed with the disgusting repeated attacks by the IMF chief on
a hotel maid in New York just the other day.
People seem to feel critical -- but not appalled, the way they should be.
There is an article out saying Americans don't really care about this
                          kind of behavior anymore.
It gives examples of the horrendous
Eliot Spitzer - I can hardly say his name -
the egomaniacal former NY governor caught
showing off how cool he was to be frequenting a gross prostitute.

The article said the American public thought the problem was really his hypocrisy
in having supposedly fought against prostitution in NY state; then himself
                          was involved.

But they really didn't care much that he had been so low to do such a dreadful deed !

Same with other American male politicians. They are seen as bad for
LYING or DECEIT but NOT for having attacked women or had affairs with them.

Compare with Mullar Omar who saves women -- not encourages such
evil pursuits the way an indifferent Western society does.

Let's say Mullah Omar's team wants to explain to the world that he is chivalrous
toward women to counterract the image of "oppression of women" as all American and European propagandists haved pounded in for over 10 years as if to hypnotise the audience.

The problem would be that Westerners really could care less
                          about protection of women anymore.

Watch, Dominique Strauss-Kahn will be let off.
He may not be President of France but he will be freed easily with a
                          mere slap on his wrist.
Hope it doesn't damage his gold plated watch...

Notice too how this affair sheds light on the fact that the IMF is directed by a Jewish Socialist who is a
                          moral creep.
What does THAT convey about international bankers today?
Especially those who hold the fate of many third world countries in their
                          grasp.
