funny how all these guys suddenly become the "opposition" after getting fired from their government jobs lolThere are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

faye, could you elaborate please.Originally posted by faye View Posthe is also implicating the states in knowing where their enemies are/were. so who do you think his master is?
Moreover, it seems Americans are propping up this guy and building his propfile (international and domestic). It wouldn't be a wonder if he emerges a leader at least in the north. How would Abdullah Abdullah, etc. react to that is another matter.

While some may refer to him as articulate in his vhemence for Taliban - his arch-foes in domestic Afghan affairs and their external supporter, Pakistan, but in my view the guy is mere cannon fodder, unsophesticated, dour and unintelligent. Believe me he wont make it to anywhere. His kind are of use in unreal circumstances and time and are only useful in very specific situation. While he barks Taliban will be part of the any future make up. His disposal coincided with a strategic shift of American reorientation in its strategy vis-a-vis Taliban i.e. military tools to be complemented with some sophesticated diplomacy and talking/engagement, and he was not particularly the guy, nor fit for the purpose. So good riddance by Karzai. So in effect he was used like a tissue and now nicely thrown up in the air enjoying his high-fly while he slowly but cheaply lands in some dust bin. It would be not wise of U.S. to not give him some attention, they cerntainly don't want to give others of his calibre the wrong impression.Originally posted by Toramana View Postfaye, could you elaborate please.

He is neither worth international nor national profile, he is what he is.

I'm trying to find a good way to describe what I think the people of the world now view pakistan and it's government.
The closest thing I can come up with is when wind goes through a wheat field.
That's how I feal now of the Pakistanis and their government...they are the wind just blowing through the field...no rules, no "meat" no longevity.
