They always do that. It's called satire. They aren't making fun of themselves, they are mking fun of the topic in question.

Im shocked at how they are so scared of him even in death that they would go to such low levels. I also think Obama is trying to milk the Obama story. Most Americans have forgotten about it, and its looks like it will have no impact on the 2012 elections.
Its really pathetic how low they are going. No one cares anymore about this story. Its a dead story, especially, when people have bills to pay.

The Guardian is a broadsheet newspaper aimed at the averagely intelligent reader. Not the unintelligent people read newspapers like 'The Sun' (a tabloid paper). It talks about world affairs, politics, economics and that stuff whereas the newspapers aimed at stupid people talk about celebrities, sport and that stuff.
So when a broadsheet newspapepr creates satire it is subtle because it is expected that their readers will understand it.
If a tabloid paper makes satire it is usually very obvious and it has to be spelt out for the reader.
Here is an example:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...y-royal-moment
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/by-roya...g-live-updates
The Guardian is very anti-royalist. The above are articles showing the newspaper's love for the royal wedding...That is satire. You probably thought it was geniune but they are joke articles. That is how subtle it is. They don't spell out their jokes in big red words because they expect their readers to be clever enough to figure it out for themselves.
So if you think that a reputable newspaper thought that Bin Laden genuinely wrote:
"4/25/11: Dancing with the Stars was awesome tonight! Just let me live long enough to see the finale. I just NEED to know who wins."
"7/23/2007: Stayed up all night and finished the book. Harry defeated Voldemort! That sucks."
...Then you have issues.---
To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
own inclinations and desires.

i just wouldnt hold it behind them since all they do is lie everyday anyway so that dumb and naive people like you can fall for it. whether or not this was a sattire is out of the question, is the whole account of bin laden being killed in a porn-immersed compound then thrown in the ocean real or is that also a sattire? answer that pukeface then we can determine who it is with the issues.

Tell me where did you get this assumption from? What made you think this?
Do you think I am a secularized Westerner who reads Western newspapers and believes everything that my idol the American government tells me? Is that it?
You got this image from me just explaining the concept of satire to you? Wow. Just wow.
You obviously do not know what satire is. I tried to explain it to you and you turn crazy.Originally posted by qunduz92 View Postwhether or not this was a sattire is out of the question,
Did I ever claim that was satire? I said that the Guardian reporting on Bin Laden's diary was satire. The Guardian was reporting that as a joke. The government was reporting Osama's death as a fact. That is the difference. Whether you choose to take it as a fact is your choice. I personally do not but hey, you don't care do you? You just want to start a fight.....Originally posted by qunduz92 View Postis the whole account of bin laden being killed in a porn-immersed compound then thrown in the ocean real or is that also a sattire?
Let me make something clear for you:
I do NOT believe that the government's account is true.
I do NOT believe it makes ANY difference while people are still dying in my country.
And "pukeface"...really? I assume you were born in 1992. In which case you would be older than me, yet your language and insults couldn't match those of a 3 year old.Originally posted by qunduz92 View Postanswer that pukeface then we can determine who it is with the issues.---

^idk, you just seemed like the naive, goody-two-shoed type that would believe everything as long as it was a "fact" according to the US government.
to me there is no difference between a "sattire" released by them, or any "real" report. its all the same bs which translated into lies.
have a nice day pukeface...lol

Ok lol. I will just clarify that I am not a "naive, goody-two-shoed type that would believe everything as long as it was a "fact" according to the US government". I question all sources of information. I am especially sceptical of any army or government statements or "facts".Originally posted by qunduz92 View Post^idk, you just seemed like the naive, goody-two-shoed type that would believe everything as long as it was a "fact" according to the US government.
And that is completely fine. I have no arguments with you thereOriginally posted by qunduz92 View Postto me there is no difference between a "sattire" released by them, or any "real" report. its all the same bs which translated into lies.

qunduz is just mad because she thought this was real lolThere are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
