I don't see any difference. It is like robbing one of his personal property, the relgion and creed of the robber is irrelevant.Originally posted by khushal View PostDo you know what jihad means? Whats the difference between Pakistan occupying Afghanistan and America occupying Afghanistan.
Wrora! You seem to have ignored the actual context of the dismissal of Taliban regime (a de facto ISI regime run in fact by Punjabi Army) by the ISAF forces mandated by the UN Security Council an action which was even endorsed by the former king Zahir Shah. Do you also consider the former king as Afghan traitor? You seem to accept the latter but despise the former. Whats the reasoning behind your thinking because I see no benefit in either for any party.
Remember that Pakistan (punjab) is the real imperialist for Pashtuns(and also other nations in Pakistan) and not the US. We don't see any fundamental clash between the US and Afghanistan just as Pakistan doesn't have any clash with the Communist (thus infidel) China.
Perhaps you put to a side the whole history of hostility between Paki(Punjabi)-Afghan natiion the root cause of which is the occupation of the historic and vast afghan land by Punjab.
If you don't care about that part of the afghan land then why do you bother to care about the rest of Afghanistan?
BTW, what is your opinion of NATO intervention in Bosnian war against the Serbs?Last edited by khyaal; 05-06-2011, 05:57 AM.

Dont worry about what the former King was thinking. He was out of touch with the average Afghani. Omar Hotak told him best to stay away from afghanistan. The kings family should have realized that depending on foreigners doesn't work in Afghanistan. It has never worked and will never work. Afghanistan has no resources why would foreigner care about the people living there.Originally posted by khyaal View PostWrora! You are confused. Dont compare the Chinese relationship with Pakistan as the same as the US relationship with Afghanistan. China is not occupying pakistan and their relationship is not as deep as people think. They don't even hold joint military excercises. It is the US aid that holds Pakistan from collapsing not Chinese aid. China and Pakistan just have a common enemy which is India that is all their relationship is.
Now I am not a Pakistani fan but Pakistan never occupied Afghanistan with Pakistani forces. If they supported a proxy force and that proxy force won then let it be because no proxy force can win in Afghanistan unless that proxy force has the support of the afghan civilians. This is the reason the Americans have failed in Afghanistan because they don't have the support of the afghan civilians, they are not working for their interests. Today you have American forces shooting down pashtuns trying to fight for their interests. Don't the pashtuns have rights in Afghanistan.
I care more about the pashtuns of KP than you do because I will not hold on to the failed policy of Dauds pushtunistan policy that is the direct cause of the destruction of Afghanistan by forcing Afghanistan to isolate itself and completely depend on the Soviets for everything. It is because of people with your mentality that wont let Dauds pashtunistan policy die. If the pashtuns of KP want to join us that is up to them, no one can force them to join us.Originally posted by khyaal View PostPerhaps you put to a side the whole history of hostility between Paki(Punjabi)-Afghan natiion the root cause of which is the occupation of the historic and vast afghan land by Punjab.

I am not Bosnian nor do I know too much detail about that conflict. A Bosnian who is aware of the details can answer this question better than I can. But what I can tell you is that what destroyed Yugoslavia was Nationalism much like what destroyed Afghanistan. You can even put Iraq into this catagory. Let go of Nationalism, it does not work and it has never worked.Originally posted by khyaal View PostBTW, what is your opinion of NATO intervention in Bosnian war against the Serbs?Last edited by khushal; 05-08-2011, 09:13 PM.

Khushal asked : Whats the difference between Pakistan occupying Afghanistan and America occupying Afghanistan.
[QUOTE=khyaal;430746]You agree it is the same? So Afghan bloodshed by US to achieve what exactly? So, wait, assuming everything you say about the Taliban is right (which it is not ), you want to trade one form of occupation for another? Whose goal does this achieve? And I know you will repeat your usual LOL. Easy for you to support the occupation of Afghanistan since you apparently seem to be be disconnected with reasons Afghans are defending their homeland.I don't see any difference. It is like robbing one of his personal property, the relgion and creed of the robber is irrelevant.

Go and form another Afghan army which defends all Afghans, and then your talking. I will say it again. As long as you are advocating continued war on your brethren across the Zero line, expect no support at all, but only scorn.
Since you appear to be a member of PMAP, you do know such views like this will make your party hated. Indifference will only continue to hurt your cause, and not help it.
MashAllah, not that many think like you.Last edited by Guest; 05-08-2011, 09:24 PM.
