There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

your doubt maybe right but the allegiance is to the ideology, even the "commander of the faithful" has to follow rules and make allegiance to the ideology. If the Commander all of a sudden leave Islam, he will be no longer commander and will be deposed of by the followers since the allegiance is to the ideology not the man.Originally posted by randolph85 View Postwell he did declare himself amir ul momineen. if no one declared allegiance to him, i doubt he would be able to carry the title.

Very interesting article by the way.
So the question is did Osama betray Omar by breaking his promise. Did Osama ever admit to the attacks of 911. Because on the FBI most wanted list, he was never wanted for the 911 attacks, he was wanted for connection to other attacks.

He was a man of many names. Arshad, Ahmed, Abu Ahmed to name a few. To his neighbors in Abbottabad, Pakistan, he was a friendly man from the country's tribal areas who worked as a money changer and built 12-foot walls to keep out the "many enemies" he'd acquired in the course of doing business.
What no one who lived near him in the sleepy, semi-rural enclave knew was that Arshad Khan was really al Qaeda operative Abu Ahmed al Kuwaiti, Osama bin Laden's most trusted courier, and his identity and location became the key to killing bin Laden.
