Haven't most Muslims in Pakistan been killed by fellow Muslims fighting a war for goodness-knows-whose-interests? Often the Muslims killed are the passers-by, many, many Pashtoons at that (though not exclusively), but certainly Pashtoons are the major victims of American, Pakistan or terrorist actions.

It's the rather simplified version, I admit, but frankly as a people we deserve much better. It would be even simpler to say right now that this is exclusively a Muslims V non-Muslims showdown.

One way or another Osama living a million dollar compound , Americans are simply going to iqnore Pakistani's involvement in supporting Osama by simply calling it "something in the past" and wants to forget. The sucurity gaurds, big mansion as well as its size lol not a cave. Please tell me Pakistani Military nearby did not knew or bother to know why the sucurity guards with Guns are protecting and who is the owner of this compound.

Al Qaeda living under protection of ISI and What a shame when Pakistanis themselves say to the west "more of our soldiers died for war on terrorism, by Al Qaeda , than the ISAF and Nato combined" while in reality they were killed by civilians who just took up arm against their properganca and invasion of Pak military over Pashtun areas.

Yes I agree but not the PEOPLE of Pakistan, it's the GOVT. and LEADERS of Pakistan and Americans etc. They're the ones that show the civilians all the negative things about Afghans and other Muslims through all types of media and use them as puppets to kill our people, countries and land depending on which type of war we'e discussing. In this case it is the war against afghans and pushtoons and let's face it russains, americans, pakistanis etc cannot beat us. They've tried many a time and failed. My point is that it's not the pakistani civilians we should be against it is the govts of pakistan and the other corrupt countries that have made their people in this way and cause all these wars and mistreatment in the first place.

Nevertheless Muslims will win in the end so we got nowt to worry about!

You're northern English, I take it.

Somewhere there's this old adage that people get the governments they deserve, but I won't go into that.

We can blame governments, and I agree, but Pakistan's governments that have come and gone and will continue to in all likelihood are bound by a common thread, often invisible. One is India. Pakistan continues to exist because of the fear of Hindustan. The other subtle reason is the military which, ultimately is about protection of privilege.

Pakistan is crumbling at the fringes and rotten at the core, its flesh is weakened and its soul is hurt and abused. It cannot lead any more and no amount of wishful thinking, even by optimistic Muslims can paper over these facts.

Example: Step into Karachi, Baluchistan or Waziristan and ask the folk there what they think of the this collective "Muslims United". Ask the Muslims of Afghanistan or Kashmir or Bangladesh, or India, Iran, Turkey - pretty much all the Muslims in the neighbourhood see their futures as very separate and they don't all define unity the same way or identify their enemies as the same.

not to mention, like Barkzai said, Pakistan sold it soul to the West, and allowed and supported the invasion of Afghanistan. Nothing of that magnitude could have happened without the assistance of Pakistan and Iran

Yes I agree it's not like that in reality at this present time and hasn't been for decades but I'm saying it should be and Allah has promised us that it will be. It will be Muslims vs Non-Muslims towards the end of time and Muslims will win the war. Allah didn't say Pushtuns against Punjabis or Turks against Indians etc.

Because Muslims are divided and as you mentioned in your post WANT to be divided that's our downfall. Even on the news now how many Muslim countries at the moment are involved in some sort of suffering? Look at the non-muslim countries. Are they suffering? The EU are united but stupid Muslim countries are fighting with each other AND non-muslims. Obviously the fights are caused by the non-muslim superpowers themselves to delibaretely divide the Muslims amongst other reasons and it's working and the situations for these Muslims are not getting any better.

Follow the Quran and Sunnah and no one can destroy Muslims. Don't follow it and hate on each other (your neighboring brothers and sisters) and the outcome of it is what is happening now and getting worse.

Maybe it's easier said than done though as I'm not living in situations like our Muslim brothers and sisters are living in, in the East and the 3rd world. I just don't see the point in hating on each other. I understand that if someone treats you badly then you mistreat them. Why shouldn't you? But it just doesn't make sense why it's almost all Muslim countries that are divided.

Yes I'm a northener. Right I'm gonna get some kip. Gotta be up early morn for work! Ta-ra!

it seems to me the sunni, shia division is not something the west can be blamed for but they have used that divisiveness to create more, sal.

And yeah when the matter comes to being a Muslim brother, so why don't they think us as their brothers??? and if they dont, then why should we????

                        Long Live Afghanistan and Pashtuns!!!!

Because the whole situation is the product of divide and rule, pit one group on the other; and the people who are using that tactic are very rarely on the target of assault. Why aren't you angry at america for exploiting and manipulating the situation in the first place? after all they're the ones who one's who've been using the Pakistanis as proxies.

Your argument is faulty, it's like when a UK person says stuff like "oh look at most of the terrorist , they were Muslims ...hence Muslims should be annihilated".
