  • US has won the Afghan war?

The US controls all of Afghanistan, and has won. The only reason they wish to talk is out of mere sympathy for the Afghan Resistance.

Most all provinces are under US control.

All Afghans support the US. The people fighting in Afghanistan carry Pakistani flags. Every time they manage to capture a base, they are waving the green flag.

All the fighters have allegiance to Pakistan GHQ. They sing the Pakistan national anthem in their free time.

    JOKE JOKE JOKE

    LMAO

Pakistani agents are abound in Kandahar, in their free time, they dance the Bhangra after fighting with foreigners. Sometimes they make the captured foreigners dance the Bhangra too.

This is in homage to their service to Pakistan.

No this is a strawman by you...to justify your weak arguments. The fact is what I say and believe is in the threads for all to see. I will let them decide, since I know where I stand. Walk along, walk along.

yeah, let people see what you are saying, and what you are saying is breaking from reality.

You want to believe certain things US-nato says, but not other things that don't fit your frame of thinking whereas I have taken in what they are saying, and what they are doing. If you don't think they are leaving Afghanistan with a whimper, then Im afraid there is nothing one can say to make you think otherwise.

            Yeah, people can see everything.

But mostly, the person that resorts to childish accusations and employs this whole "Your using a strawman argument baloney" indicates that your points are pretty weak.

I say the Afghan resistance is a natural response to foreigners.

I say that Afghans are opposed to foreigners

I say that the Afghan resistance has forced the foreigners to plan their withdrawal, and follow it through. In the mean time, it is expected that they will try to disguise it as much as they want. I mean how else do they say: we lost.

Faith in our people has shown time and time again, that no one can rule them.

This time, I have not given my opinion, but reality.

I want Comrade Pashtun, BLS, Toramana to answer this before Barakzai or Khushal break your arguments to pieces.

                    Thanks in advance.

Why is Pakistan allowing supply routes to US forces in Afghanistan? Isn't Imran Khan taking good action to 1) halt drone attacks against his people, and 2) block the US-nato supply route.

He is concerned for the welfare of our people.

I expect proper answers without the usual snide remarks that are signs of failed and weak points <<<

Funny I don't remember Barakzai ever breaking my arguments to pieces or Khushal? Is this some lingering fantasy for others to do what you have never been able to? Interesting.

I already told you about my issues with his policy regarding drones...it is in the very same two threads that you ran away and didn't reply to. If people want to know, they can go into there and check them out.

You also have to understand states are not one monolithic being and similarly don't have one set of interests. They have and do things that are seen as counter-intuitive, but end up serving what they perceive as their greater interests. Why does the Army publicly decry the drones but then behind back doors get paid billions for letting the drones fly from their own bases? Things are never that simple. Iran and US were not friends, but when the invasion of Afghanistan happened, they saw that as in their interests as Taliban were anti-Iran. Now why would Iran then help a country they were supposedly not on good terms? This is a similar (not the same) example. Pakistan has their own strategic interests in Afghanistan which they want to be recognized. The fact that supply lines run through Pakistan is something they are well-paid for, and gives them a certain amount of leverage. Bear in mind, that US also pulls a lot of strings in that country.

Also remember Pakistan didn't have much of a choice, US had made their intentions very clear and Musharraf knew where the cards were at the time. I believe Musharraf talked about it in his book regarding the threats of Armitage. Bottomline, if Pakistan can garner some strategic influence against India within Afghanistan, they are willing to capitulate to a lot more (and historically have). The occasional nato supply lines being blocked is Pakistan holding on to whatever little leverage they can muster against NATO. This generally happens when Pakistan feels left out and snubbed.

I have already talked about my issues regarding PTI, you can check your own thread you started (and btw which you didn't reply to).

You are a lost soul ghundaka.

I have asked you before to answer this exactly question. In order to have properly discuss the issue I have you to have it in a professional and structured manner so you do not resort to sentimental BS, anecdotes and your usual diatribe and the rest which can be considered mere slurs.

So here again, I ask you: define winning and losing for the U.S. and Taliban. I am not saying they have and they will never achieve their objectives soley militarily. The end of this war is political just like all wars have been throughout the mankind history. So where are the U.S. and in Taliban in their respective political goals?

You have to remember that this is not about U.S. only but the overwhelming majority of Afghanistan and its government against the Taliban.

Once again I ask you to name me 2 provinces or 5 districts that Taliban control.

I am not saying Taliban are insignificant, they indeed are a significant political organisation who needs to be incorporated into long term solution in Afghanistan, but they are not winning and will not win against the rest of Afghanistan. We on the other hand think that they are the sons of the soil like the rest of us who are misguided and fallen in to the hands of strangers, where their leaders are held hostage. Saying this, the issue of US presence can only be dealt with once we Afghans come together from which point they will be making the move back to USA. United we stand and divided we fall.

You are a Pakistani so it is best you worry about your own country.

This post shows how much of a pillock you are.

Who gives a crap about Imran Khan? I don't know if he is really concerned about the welfare of his people and he merely capitalising the issue for making political inraods. What makes you think all this will help stop drones? Stop mixing threads, you have already opened a thread on the issue, you monkey.

As far as I can tell we are not trying to "win" the war...just finding a decent way to withdrawl from Afghanistan.

A sensible post for once. Please tell that to BLS and Comrade. No Afghan will trust these words, and will continue to oppose foreign presence like they have in the past.

SO WAIT, you want to find a decent way out at the expense of Afghan lives?
