have you seen his soul? How are you so sure about someone who 1) hasn't been involved in fraud or money laundering 2) has left quite a splendid life in London to pursue is political objective which I believe is to give a just system to the whole of Pakistan. In my talks with him, he told me this much about how he wants to remove the feudal system.

He has not been associated with the likes of Musharraf, never supporting his goals, and is staunchly against the US-nato war against Afghanistan. If being against the US war against the Afghans is serving Pakistani interests, then hell, call me a Pakistani. I would be DAMN PROUD to be a PAKISTANI

but............................................... .................... ITS NOT TRUE LOL

They actually do Pakistan a favor by saying that Pakistan is against the US war in Afghanistan, and they shoot themselves in the foot by being cheeleaders for the killings of their brethren, because as you and I know, Pashtuns never forgive or forget. Like Imran Khan said, badal can be taken 100 years later.

    Wrongs are never forgiven.

Call it an act all you want, but he has goals, and so far this guy has made both a wise decision, and taken a stance. He wants the drone attacks to stop, and by consequence the war against the Afghans to stop. This is not an act. To say it is an act would mean he means the opposite- that he wants more Afghans to be killed. Its preposterous thinking that can only be cured by seeing a shrink.

Thanks for the comment. Hope you improve your creative writing skills (Learn to put two sentences correctly togethor) a bit for being just a number cruncher is not enough to climb the social ladder (a cause for some naree Pukhthnana to become muderous thugs/Taleban)...

Toramana, ANP/PMAP are the most pathetic parties, lacking any credibility at all, and like the Kabul elite, will never ever see the light of day in terms of drawing Afghan/ pashtun support.

ANyone who supports them is considered weak.

Pakistan, ANP, PMAP, US are all on the same page. What pashtun will ever be drawn to such sell-outs? Think?

Reason and logic would expect Toramona to source his (false) assertions about Khan failing to attract people. Not one source linked, and the ones that can be linked state the opposite. My sources indicate that Khan is gaining ground, and the 'dharnas' success would indicate so. A correct reading into the matter would leave many to believe that the failed illogical nationalists are getting worried that their last bastion of plugging at the emotional strains of Pakistani Pashtuns is losing ground. They had already resigned themselves to 'serving pashtuns of pakistan', and that too maybe going the way of the past. They themselves are involved in the ever increasing narrative of Pakistani nationalism, given their latest actions (and inactions) and statements regarding the issues at play.

Btw, why didn't the anp/pmap wallas support such an initiative which would lead to less murder of pashtuns?

According to authentic sources, the number of people in the crowd he was able to gather was not more than 5000 people---Many of them had come from Punjab---One source tells, they were at most 1200 including 200 journalists...an indication that Imran Khan as a card by the Punjabi ethnochauvinism is not working on Pashtuns....

Well said. All Toramana's sources are biased against Imran Khan (all pakistani sources too). Im afraid for them that Imran Khan will take away their supporters as anyone who supports drone attacks against their own people (ANP, PMAP), well what credibility will they ever have?

Very narrow minded of you to think that numbers are an indication of real thought in a feudal set-up. Not surprising given your limited understanding of the dynamics at play. The so-called establishment boogie you keep harping on about would oppose blocking of a route and put hurdles in its path. It is not in their interest to use the route card yet. Innocent people getting killed is a side-show for all involved (Foreigners, Pakists, neutered/irrelevant nationalists).

Quietly, the nationalists might support whatever or be against anything, their recent statements opposing the strikes and passing resolutions in their provincial assembly shows that they realize where the Pashtuns of KPK stand. Which is refreshing. They have repeatedly said that they oppose such actions. Whether they really do is irrelevant. If they openly say the things that their delusional few supporters say on the internet they wouldn't last too long in this world. Call that "shrewdness", it's just a term intended to make themselves feel better and pull a veil over their utter failures.
