Why don't the Taliban talk with other Afghans?

What? I am countering whatever flimsy arguments you have.Originally posted by ghundal View PostI guess this is a novel debate tactic. Throw a few accusations here and there, and then try to confuse the person into what you were addressing. Sorry, it does not work.
Like I said about 100 times, and I will say again, talks will only happen once the US-nato leaves.
And this is not me saying it. This is what the Afghan Resistance groups have been saying.

I believe they fight against anyone who support the foreigners. So if you walk around with Americans, they won't let you rock either since you are inadvertently serving US/Nato interests. Those formulated rules have been used by many nations in the past as well.Originally posted by ComradePashtun View PostAdmin,
What principle is fighting against your own people too and killing them. I would have no problem if they just fought the foreigners.
Just to be clear ComradePashtun, I haven't yet shared my political stance. I do not endorse NATO or Taliban. I have my own little thoughts, stuck in my head. I'm just reiterating what they have stated in the past.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Each political group has their own rules and agenda.Originally posted by ghundal View PostAdmin Khan, I also want to know why the ANA fights their own people. I also would be ok if they fought against and not with outsiders.
The ANA claim the Taliban is the enemy. So if you support the Taliban, chances are the ANA won't be happy. The Taliban have a similar rule system as well. If you support the ANA, or if you support the US/NATO government, they won't let you rock. And that is the reason why Pashtun dominated provinces like Kandahar, Helmand have little to no presence in the ANA.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

now, what you are doing^^ is actually called an attempt to ridicule someone because you may not like what they say.Originally posted by BLS_1919v2.0 View PostWhat? I am countering whatever flimsy arguments you have.
I have merely regurgitated what I have read from Hoh, Peter Bergin, and Dr. Shuer. Also, the number of journal articles detailing US failure in Afghanistan.
I guess all the above are Taliban cheerleaders, even the ex-marine. Oh, they could be ISI agensts, too!

Where did I mention agents or Sheur or Hoh? I don't remember mentioning them or ridiculing them. Funny did you get your facts on the Communist party from them, or Mirwais Hotak? Because if you did, then they are entirely wrong. Other than that, they have their opinions, and I have read their stuff, but there are others.Originally posted by ghundal View Postnow, what you are doing^^ is actually called an attempt to ridicule someone because you may not like what they say.

P.S. Why are you regurgitating others material? You should just take it as a source and formulate your own opinion. They are by no means political prophets or the end all be all in the region.

Isn't this a inter-Afghan conflict that needs to be resolved among us: Taliban against all other Afghans? Why can't we talk to each other, why should ISI and Pakistan keep reiminding us that the road to peace runs through Islamabad? Why can't the Taliban rebuff them as they do when Karzai asks them for peace talks?

afghans and afghanistan are a small fish in a big sea, basically we don't matter in the larger picture. the conflict in the country since the 80s has been created not by afghans, but by outsiders. its these russians/pakis/americans/other smaller elements that are playing afghanistan like a vuvuzela. afghans dont control the destiny of the country, the strings are being pulled by foreigners. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

this is not true; he had support of the Popalzai clans of Qandahar, and many Sadozi were also on his side.Originally posted by ComradePashtun View PostNo silly sentimental anecdotes.
Shah Shuja had no support amongst Afghans. Look accross the Afghan political spectrum and tell me if they support the current Afghan system and government of the Taliban. If anything Taliban are the root cause of Afghanistan's weak current weak state and occupation. We Afghans are really neutralising each other's strength and energy which we should be utilsing for the betterment of ourselves and against our enemy who ever they happened to be.
Why don't you Pakis rise against your own government and overthrow your government? Real Jihad shouldn't start in Pakistan?
I don't support the Taliban, but let's portray history accurately.

I agree Pakistan is using geopolitical black mail on Afghanistan; now I couldn't care less about Afghanistan AS THE STATE, let's face it, elections and all that hoo haa aside, Afghanistan has a history of essentially being a foreign created buffer state, and has had puppet governments through out much of its history; and this government is no different.Originally posted by ComradePashtun View PostIsn't this a inter-Afghan conflict that needs to be resolved among us: Taliban against all other Afghans? What's the concern should be for is the welfare of it's citizens who have for the most part had no part in any of that mess above, The Taliban leadership has pretty much demonstrated that they are stooges or at least in collaboration with the Pakistani Government's geopolitical agenda. The rank and file Taliban see a fake Afghan Government.
Pakistan's agenda is clearly a threat to the Afghan citizens rather than the Kabul Government, since it does not affect the Puppet Government of Kabul, the Kabul Government no matter what Pakistan does will be funded, not alot, but just enough to keep it running for a good while.
But this is exactly why there needs to be a Peoples revolution; because the Afghan Government is Impotent, America funds BOTH Pakistan and the Current Kabul Government. And Iran is involved in funneling weapons to the Taliban now too. This means the only way left is for the people to rise up against all three factors. If there is not a peioples movement, nothing can be gained.
