Is this not treachery. Certainly, this is not nationalism, and if cooperation with foreigners is all so-called nationalist can ever do, then no wonder why their prospects are so bad. No wonder why they lack credibility.

The heart of this matter is that all the movements whether they be the Communist, the ANP/PMAP, or the Kabul expats- well they all want others to fight their battles. Since this involves the bloodshed of their own people, their ideas will never hold ground, and what they want will remain a dream. They will have no serious hold on their people. This is where religious movements are able to hold more away. Hence, the religious movements become also the nationalistic movements which we are seeing now.

Khaana this has zero to do with nationalism, or any ism. It is an issue about the future of your people. You think people didn't use this rhetoric back in the Soviet times? Lol, far more sophisticated that what you are doing (don't worry they would cheer-lead like you...never sent their kids to the battlefield, rather had poor Pashtuns do that part).

    Who brought Russians?

Actually, no there is a difference. See one is discussion and coming to terms with reality. The other is cheering on for others to die for a war that one is too coward to face themselves. We are each answerable to these things. So if you are so gung-ho about it, then what are you doing screaming online? Like I said da gaz ao da maidan. If it is important for Pashtuns there to fight, then you are no better than them. Your blood isn't more valuable then theres. I would rather my people sit in jirga and come to terms. In that process no one can tell Afghans/Pakhtuns otherwise. That is called tact and in my opinion far more fair to our people then cheering online. Khaana warsha baaligh sarrae yaee toppak ra waakhla.
I am speaking facts which maybe you don't like to hear. I am not cheerleading. That would require that I say GO TALIBAN! GO TALIBAN! What do you call cheerleading. Aren't you supporting US-nato?

How does reconciliation support US? Are you that blind? What facts btw? You can't even use historical quotes properly...you even messed up with the Mirwais Hotak reference lol. Actually you are supporting the people fighting NATO, so you have chosen a side...which begs the question..why are you just sitting there?

you call this back and forth words between you and I cheerleading. This is not cheerleading. And what do you think our words even mean? You think anyone besides CP takes this seriously.

Take this for what this is. This is how people accept reality, and reality is saying that the US is being defeated like the Soviets before them<<< that is a fact, not an act of cheerleading.

          LOL

now, I never quoted anyone, not even Mirwais neeka.

And you are supporting NATO> Why don't you pick up a gun and go and fight Omar Hotak, yourself? Why should my US tax dollars go to fight your battles when you cant do it yourself?

ANP/PMAP should pick up firearms, and go and find Omar Hotak and his gang and fight them. WHy should Tom, Steve, and Matt go to fight your battles?

Khaana it is not enough to say US is defeated and that is it. You have to worry about the future of your people. Yesterday it was the Soviets, today it is NATO, tomorrow it will be someone else. What will your people do then? US's collapse has little to do with Afghanistan and more to do with their internal political mess. It all depends on their economy, internal dynamics. That is how the Soviets collapsed. The Soviet system was so internally decadent and was on the brink of collapse.

What makes you think I care if anyone listens to what I have to say or take seriously? I am my own man, and have my opinion. It could be wrong, it could be right.

I already mentioned what cheerleading is, and you are in denial if you don't know the context I am using it in. Woss zaaa norr khalk saroona mo khuraa.

The Taliban whether we like them or not are men of principles. They made it clear that they will not accept foreigners. As we speak, the word 'Taliban' is some sort of a euphemism for people who are against NATO/US presence. Most of the Taliban footsoldiers have joined forces with them simply because they have lost loved ones, and they are looking for badal.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Besides Mirwais neeka, I referenced a bunch of traitors that came to my mind. I did not put them in order. there was no reason.

So, why should my US tax dollars go to fight your and Comrades battle against Omar Hotak and his forces? WHy don't you and Comrade pick up an AK and fight him yourself?

Khaana are you confused or lack basic comprehension skills? If I talking about reconciliation why would opt for violence? I just told you that all Afghans/Pashtuns and even other ethnic groups from different political spectrum should come and opt for marakah and Jirgah. For a guy who supposedly loves Pashtun culture, you miss out on a basic and useful tool called Jirga. I am saying that we should all sit and discuss it, and reconcile. It isn't going to be easy but it is far better than our people killing each other.

Oh and we never asked to come here, yet your state feels the need to push its political agenda around the world, the price of being a super power I guess. BTW I love how it is now your tax dollars (funny we never asked for them). Kindly take your tax dollars and apply this principle to the migraine state called Pakistan and its military apparatus. You will do us humble folk a huge favour.

                            Agreed

We are all cheerleaders in one form or another. I cheerlead one maybe because I am in no position to do anything else, vocally speaking. Do we even all know each other to even ask why are you not there fighting? Do you think someone asked Hitler at the Beer Halls why he was there? (bad example, I know) Leveling this at someone by no means renders what I have to say as false or lacking credibility, and then I am not the won with a political flag in my avatar (of the Taliban, US, or Kabul elite).

What one can notice is to look at history, and see who is standing on just principles, and who is not.

As for what we do with our lives in this world, well one would hope we all serve our people, and not collaborate or justify their enemies (whoever they may be), but that is entirely up to the person. Since the topic of cheerleading has been brought up, especially from someone who himself has a political flag in his avatar, lets dig deeper into this at BLS's insistence.

If I explain the Taliban position, and explain why the US is being defeated, it actually reveals nothing about where I stand alone on my view of what is happening unless one considers me engaging in wishful thinking. If this is the case, then half the global media is engaging in wishful thinking against US-NATO. This is doubtful. I also doubt they are Taliban cheerleaders.

Speaking about who is just and who is not does not equate to cheeleading. Justice is a principle that guides true civilizations.

And about helping OUR people. Well why do I need to say anything about this, now?

I guess this is a novel debate tactic. Throw a few accusations here and there, and then try to confuse the person into what you were addressing. Sorry, it does not work.

Like I said about 100 times, and I will say it again, talks will only happen once the US-nato leaves. From my readings (you can call that cheerleading), I have noted that the Taliban have said 1) they do not plan to rule, and 2) only want to expel the foreign invaders. On those principles, they have emphasized that they will only talk with the Afghan groups once all foreigners have withdrawn. This has been a major goal, and they are not going to put is aside to please others, especially, when they have the upper hand. Now if that sounds like cheerleading to you, then I guess you consider the likes of Peter Bergen, Hoh, and Dr. Shuer as Taliban cheerleaders, too.

And this is not me saying it. This is what the Afghan Resistance groups have been saying.

What principle is fighting against your own people too and killing them. I would have no problem if they just fought the foreigners.
