They are considered as "our boys" by the true rulers of Pakistan, so I wonder why would they need travel documents? Aren't Afghans being harrased and put in to jail in Pakistan for their visas and passports as we speak?

Visa and passport procedures are not effecient to their modus-operandi.

            Two possible scenarios:

            1- Fake news

            2- Policy blow-back

well it seems a bit odd that such a large contingent of taliban wasn't spotted by the the us drones or the paki intelligence.

Pakistan just wants to create excuses for avoiding the pending operation in Waziristan which has been taken hostage by the foreign militants who are carrying out most of their activities in Afghanistan.

So Pakistan killed (or murdered to be more accurate) 19 of its troops, who were Pashtuns (FCC are nearly all Pakhtoon) to avoid a military offensive in North Waziristan?

                      1. So Pakistan kills its own citizens when it wants to?

                      2. It fears the US and being ordered to carry out military operations against its will?

                      3. Despite it being a supposed nuclear power the US can boss it around and threaten it?

By the way it is you a Pakistani nationalist who is saying how ruthless and evil Pakistan is that it will murder its own citizens.

i met one kashmiri napak army officer who quit the army in protest for the killing of pashtuns in swat and waziristan. When i asked why you did this?
he said i like pashtuns they are brave and honest. The punjabis are killing them for westreners and dollars. He was calling punjabis begerat and selfish. The poor guy was driving taxi to feed his family.I admire him for his courage and bravery.

I met a Kashmiri here in London many years ago, maybe 12.

He was light-skinned with brown hair, the only reason I say this is because he was definitely not one of the Potohari/Mirpuris of Kashmir who fall within the borders of "Azad" (Pakistan Occupied) Kashmir" but are just Punjabis, he was obviously a real Kashmiri of either Dardic or Pashtun lineage.

He told me "Pathans, they are the good people of Pakistan" (and I just knew from his tone what he was trying to say i.e. they are honest and have decency) and "Punjabis are bad", and the same from his facial expression and tone he meant they were cruel and dishonest.

Anyway Afghans/Pakhtuns always ruled these cowards and traitors and the current "Pakistan" is just an abberation in history.

P.S. Even some the diehard "Dil dil Pakistan" nationalist Pakhtoons in the military are questioning what is going on in FATA & KPK and think it is an attack on Pashtuns.

This is one reason why if there is an offensive in North Waziristan one day the tribals and militants will have the capability to launch a counter-offensive and cross the Margala Hils and besiege or take Islamabad, as they have many sympathizers within the Pakistan army for ethnic and religious reasons.
