He is genuine. When he first entered politics, there was bomb which targeted him. It was a threat.

This man abandoned his family (ex-wife and two kids) and a nice lavish life in England to work towards his goals for his people, none of which involve corruption and money laundering.

He is sincere in his political stances. He, unlike the ANP and PMAP is taking action to protect his people.

It is time people start recognizing something rather than place some mysterious reason as to why a person is doing such and such.

His mettle is tested. Why is he even in politics in the first place? To take out huge loans from banks, and cause them to fail? I think the Pakistani elite only allow a select few to partake in those fraudulent activities, just like their Kabul elite thieves in arms in Afghanistan.

By your example, Achakzai, Asfandyaar, Sherpao, Fazlul Rehman are all sincere people. And unlike Imran, have much more political legitimacy and for a longer time. I am sorry, it isn't a cowboy western flick where that is used as a sincere counter. Bhutto family has lost so many. Shall I cry over them as well? Zulfiqar Bhutto was hanged by the same Genral he promoted. That same general lead a US-backed coup and took his life. Jia Bhutto lol? His sons were assassinated. Shall I go on?

The man did not abandon his family, but his wife divorced him. This, again is his personal life, and for what reasons certain things happened is beyond our knowledge and not for us to pry in to. What makes you think he isn't living a good life in Pakistan? I can assure you, that man is not living hand to mouth, he has a very comfortable living.

Really? You sure about that? ANP has made compromises which I don't like, and PKMAP (from people I have talked to) have done that as well. Despite this, more political workers of ANP were killed/assassinated in Swat then PTI (if there are any). Now why would that be? If you want to be fair, then show the entire picture. Don't bless one side and turn a blind eye to the other. That is highly disingenuous.

How do we know, why is in politics? He may say something, but when he is really in a position of power, only then can we see his political worth. As of now, he is a side-show, a freak. A great cricketer with charisma. And most of the time, that is why people come to see him.

If the elite hated him so much, he would not be touted in the media. This guy also sides with the same elite who are in political parties...they guy rubs shoulders with Hamid Gul, etc. Do you think those people are living in squalors crying for their people? so what if he has an ulterior motive? He wants drone attacks to end. I could care less what women he dates, or what his ulterior motives are. As long as I find a shared common ground with him, thats all I care about. Every politician has an ulterior motive, including your heroes Achakzai who was holding hands with Najib not along ago.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force cannot shoot down unmanned drones, said Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik. He said the altitude of the drones is much higher than that of F-16 fighters.

“Our effort remains focused on finding a diplomatic solution to halt drone attacks. We feel they are counter-productive. Drone missiles cause collateral damage. A few militants are killed, but the majority of victims are innocent citizens,” Malik told reporters. Malik accompanied Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to Afghanistan last Saturday. The United States is using the Hunter Killer category of drones carrying Hellfire missiles in Pakistan’s tribal areas.

Besides Pakistan is happy and wants more of such attacks so that USA can kill as many innocent as possible and than blame Pakistan and place more of their soldiers inside a non-Indic land ie Pashtunistan.
