      Fish,
Good job. You should collaborate with Nick.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Thanks looks Good but dear remember what-ever kind of Data always lack something. They leave out small numbers compare to big and since many people speak Dari are not considered in this map which is why I am against this Tajik and PAshtun crap. Sorry I disagree on dividing people based on Language. Anyways I look at regions based on history.

Yes I can present my arguement and I will take Badakhshan as an Example.
You see Badakhshan is the most beautiful place in Afghanistan's northern region. A land of beauty frash air you can only imagine to find in Heavens. Tall trees and what a view, however in Cold its a death end, 6 months of danger and only 3 months of enjoyment a great place to see and visit but i am not going to move there lol even if they give me million dollars a year despite its peacefulness.

My question to you is why did they left out Badakhshan even in terms of Pashtu language as we its spoken by 15% of the population. Tribally speaking Pakthywals such as Shamal,Tarvaizi or sometimes known as Taryzai and Tani compressing majority of Shoghnan some 40,000 living people only 8300 when to vote and 3587 voted for Shahnawaz Tanai lol wonder why ask how many people are Tanai, and you will know why. What was interesting for me was to know how come we have lots of Pakthiywal in Badakhshan. Specially the Shamal which has 5 sub-tribes the Malizai Kandaharis in Pakistan, Pir zads in Khost, and Malaki in Pakhthia, and yet Parbah and Narizai are also found in Badakhshan all over Khwahana, and Ragh.

That made me look back in history when Darius bought this tribe to fight the Pakhtrians (Bactrians) in 520 BCE, and so they were send as noted by Greek historians in the North to battle their own people who dressed same as Pakhtyans the Pakhtrian and they won. Daruis succeed in most of Eastern Lands because of Pakhtywals or Pakhtyans in his Army as he calls them. Maybe but anyways there are many other tribes in the north of Badakhshan specially Faizabad, Shari buzurg, Khash, and Baharak, but yes they don't speak Pashtu and if these Afghan affiliated tribes did spoke Pashtu I am sure Pashtuns would of been 40-60% in Badakhshan. The only Pashtu speaking tribes are the Kuchis which are majority of Kishim and Kohistan. Which we know in 1950s the Kuchi uprise resulted in death of 3 uzbeks and 12 Shiwachi Ismailis. Since newly Uzbeks and Tajiks coming from Northern Oxus majority of them settled in Badakhshan even during winter this gave them the ownership of Badakhshan and Kuchi trib lost the case and their summer lands. At the end Government gave some money to Kuchis and said Uzbeks can remain and Shawachis were supported which resulted in Kuchi hating the Government because the Kuchi claim the land of Badakhshan was always there for ages and they had lands which they used during summers.

Anyways Badakhshan is one example as we know at least 15% of them speak Pashtu, and never mind Tanai, and other Pakhtywals, 10% alone are Kuchis, your map should include them after all Badakhshan has some 1 million people.
