This is part of my plan. I will also learn Pashtu, Insha Allah. I am pure Pashtun, from father and mother, but I don't speak the language. This is something that upsets me more everyday. I wish my parents spoke Pashtu at home and not Dari. Dari is sweet, don't get wrong. But I am Pashtun. I feel shameful that I can't express my love for my Afghanistan in Pashtu. Insha Allah, that day will come. Insha Allah!

Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:
[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.
[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

lol...
Alhamdulillah, I can speak Dari. I taught myself how to read and write in Dari. It was easy because we spoke Dari at home, so I could make the connections. However, it is hard for to teach myself Pashtu. I don't have a foundation. I will learn this language, then I will come back and chit-chat with you forumites in the language of Ahmad Shah Baba.Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

My great-grand father was from Kandahar. He migrated to Kabul for a better opportunity. So, yeah, I want to learn the Kandahari dialect.Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

Although I couldn't watch the climax of the documentary as Youtube has a copyright restriction, I couldn't contain myself in the other three parts. In all honesty, that was the first glimpse of the Afghanistan I want to see, the Afghanistan I want to visit, the Afghanistan my heart trembles at its every devastating turn in history and to date. While watching it, in every scene, with those faces, whom I haven't met, yet are so dear, my eyes feel a burning sensation and begin to form tear droplets, I saw myself in each and every one, engaging in all those activities with them, and within that thought, making them smile too, to the best of my ability. A dream for now, but one so eager to be fulfilled.
I really hope I could have seen the climax, the third part of the documentary. May I ask a favour of you Mu'min? At your convenience, do you think you can covert it for me into a wmv so I can watch it? Of course, the intent isn't to trouble you and so if it does, disregard this request.
Beautiful share. Thank you.
