  • Six killed in first drone strike after spy chief meeting

    http://www.dawn.com/2011/04/13/six-d...9-meeting.html

LOL. Interesting. And General Hamid Gul will keep on applauding Taliban for their deeds in afghanistan. It is astonishing that why don''t this Hamid Gul, Imran khan and co. declare jihad against these US puppets? Pakistan also has a 'mighty' army with a slogan of 'al jihad fee sabil lillah'.

I don't believe for a minute that the 6 killed in the truck were -
    SO CONVENIENTLY Haqqani fighters -

the Pakistani intelligence officials cited are simply lying
to provide backup for the CIA programme.
Clearly they are trying to create a new image of
CIA - ISI lovey-dovey cooperation to erase
    the former friction ...

If Haqani fighters can do it Pakistan is more than capable to defeat the NATO. What stops Pakistan's soldiers of islam from doing it we don't know. Paki Army has always been prompt in dethroning its own legitimate governments and it has always been the de facto ruler of this country. So what is your opinion about Pakistani Army to start Jihad against the Infidel West?

Pakistani Army is an infidel army. It is an act of disbelief to become part of Paki army or even support their cause. Because Paki army stands for everything that is against Islam.

And the day when Shariah is implemented in Pakistan, I hope that all Paki army personnel are tried and punished for their apostasy and crimes against Islam and humanity.

killing of one innocent is as though killing of the whole of humanity.
But here tens thousand of people have been killed only in drone attacks and the ISI, govt and army is on the back of these attacks. So does this creates a reason to rebel against this govt and army ?

From the slick tone of the first article - I didn't read the Dawn link one -
it sounds as though the Establishment is back to business as usual.

One could therefore conclude -- despite all the talk at the time of a chasm between the 2 countries and agencies -- that the Raymond Davis case turned out to be barely a blip on the screen.

              Terrible !

You're assuming that they give a flying sack whether people are killed in drone strikes. GOP likes to keep the facade of objecting to them for public consumption. Would not be surprised if the drones took off from Pakistani bases (and they did, may still do). What they want is greater visibility in the strikes, and judging from the WaPost article, that was achieved.

                  Where are the bases ?
Pakistan has a history of bad 'luck' lending bases for US special flights such
as the U-2 we all discussed awhile back. That one took off from Peshawar.
The bases used for the drones must be very hidden or people would see those
ugly things taking off and flying overhead, right ?

Greater visibility = what did you mean, in which way ?

LOL, Najibullah used to have slogans about " Payendabad afghanistan, marg bar Pakistan" ; while he was taking direct commands from Russia; does that make Afghan Nationalism invalid because of that?

Pakistan exploiting a concept doesn't make the concept itself invalid. Anyone can rip off a good idea. The idea itself remains meritorious
