A Mohajir from Karachi is hardly able to issue threats of mass expulsion of refugees and others, especially when his ancestors were themselves refugees and sought refuge in Sindh, from the supposedly "evil" Hindus who were out to persecute them.

The unfortunate fact is that despite 5 decades of staying in Sindh, Mohajirs are not really seen as being true Pakistanis, sons of the soil by Punjabis and even others, and are victims of Punjabi racism e.g. "kaalu (black) Mohajir" etc, that is not to say Mohajirs themselves are not racists and have an agenda of Hindustani supremacism in Southern Sindh.

I know Mohajirs, some are not bad people, but fundamentally they know they are second-class citizens, even outsiders in a Punjabi-dominated Pakistan, and there is even a Punjabi-Pashtun axis (pro-Pakistani Punjabized Pashtuns not real Pashtuns) against them in the military and other areas, there was even a Pakhtun-Punjabi Ittehad organization in Karachi in the past.

Keyboard threats of the mass expulsion of 3 million Muslims by an Indian refugee from Karachi can hardly be taken seriously, when the same refugee will have a burning hatred of the Punjabi dominated police force who treat him like trash in Karachi itself.

Everyone else: Attempts to vilify the Afghan population resident in Pakistan including in Karachi are totally wrong. Pakistan has existed for half a century and Afghans are not the cause of Pakistan's problems.

- The Shia-Sunni sectarian issue and violence did not originate with Afghans or even Pashtuns but with Punjabis primarily from Jhang, including the Sipah i Sahaba of Haq Nawaz Jhangvi.

- The feudal slavery existent in many parts of Pakistan, with what are essentially feudal slave owners such as the Bhutto family, Gilanis and others in power has nothing to do with Afghans. Peasants live a life of bondage and suffering and this failure to combat slavery cannot be blamed on Afghans.

REALITY: The ANP won the elections, rules the province in a coalition, has renamed the province to a more Pashtun name, made Pashto medium compulsory in schools and is flexing its nationalist muscles in Karachi which was almost in a state of low-intensity civil war. One of its senior leaders, and potential future leader, Ghulam Bilour has subtly and sometimes not so-subtly threatened a "Bangladesh" (military rebellion, secession) against the Islamabad regime.

However to this day from speaking to my Pashtun friends in Pakhtunkhwa, the majority of Pashtuns are not against Pakistan and hope that this state works so they can enjoy a better life. However they do not have an eternal, unquestionable support for the state, and if it collapses they will do what they need to.

3. I know many "Mohajirs" from different backgrounds including Hyderabadis, ones from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Kachis and so on, and also a "Mohajir" from Hyderabad in Sindh. Yes, Mohajirs are proud Pakistanis but they dislike Punjabis in the same way many Pashtuns dislike Punjabis and feel they are hard done by. Why does the MQM exist? Ostensibly as a way to deal with supposed discrimination against Mohajirs.

Anyway there is a lot I know, but I do not have the time or interest in telling people. In my previous post I could have said how there are 1-3 million Bengalis in Karachi, but however I prefer a Pakistani to think that he has nothing in common with Bangladeshis because they don't. If only their ISI believed that and stopped supporting extremists in our country.
