You reek of stupidity. Tribal societies are not feudal but communal and strongly social and members are linked by kinship. Tribalism was replaced by Feudalism in most of the world. You cant say a society is tribal and feudal, it can not be both you baboon.

lol, you're really squirming here. Pashtun base means predominantly Pashtun with some other ethnicities mixed in. Basically Pashtun.

You've not got the slightest idea. Looking up the Communist definition of Tribal and Feudal and believing those are the definitions of Tribal and Feudal is the ultimate in failures.

The Communist Tribal and Feudal are defined as they would appear in a Marxist society.. DOHHHH. Tribal and Feudal have nothing Communal about them. Feudalism is the progenitor of the Capitalist society, if anything.

Societies can be both Feudal and Tribal. Feudalism is just the loose binding of societies under a name, Tribalism refers to allegiance to their tribe. Afghanistan is quite a good example in recent years. It is a tribal society with Feudal overlords that were bound together under one name.

You are wrong. Tribal societies have no overlords. When I go to my village, I have no overlord. I like every other member of the tribe own land and have no master. Also we are communal. If any member is in need of my assistance or I am in need of their assistance, I can not turn him/her away and they can not turn me away, this is referred to as Melmastya. I am obligated to assist as they are. If I harm anyone, then my whole Kor(family) will feel the pain, and if I am harmed, then the ones inflicting harm will feel the wrath of my Kor(family), this is called Badal.
We are bound together by kinship not by overlords as you say. Power in Tribal societies is measured by male members(mairoona).

There are some areas in pashtunland where feudal practices exist like Mardan and Jalalabad.
Road, you are not familiar with Tribal societies, you are only familiar with feudal societies like panjab and sindh which are perfect examples of feudalism where landlords enslave the people that live on it.
I dont know why you are bringing up Marxism, thats something else.

what this discourse proves is that Roadrunner has no familiarity with the how the mechanisms of Afghan society or Pashtun society works; i.e. he's not from Pashtun society.

I guess the fact he thought Kabul was originally a Pashtun city should have been a clue.

^^ amusing. If anyone's not Pashtun, your photograph would have been enough proof. Indian to a t.

but of course your DAD's ancestor is from Afghanistan as you pointed out - perhaps 200 years ago when he moved to India.

Aren't you one of the guy who was once showing carvings of Indo-Prakrit speaking Gandharans and saying they were ancient Pashtuns? If anyone here has "Indic" affinities here it's you.

I love how you try to misquote me; I said my father is from Afghanistan, not my father's ancestors.

You must be one of those dorks that think Pashtuns are some light skinned blue/green eyed Aryan super race; It makes sense given the South Asian obsessesion with fairness.

I guess on that token this guy is clearly not Pashtun in your wannabe eyes.

Scimitar does not look like an Indian in his photograph. I first thought he was a white guy.

But you really have no clue about Afghanistan. Your calling the Peshawar 7 an afghan government in exile, it's like calling the TTP a Pakistani government in exile.

heh yeah that's actually the first time I have ever been taken as Indian; but I guess Roadrunner only sees what he can relate to.

hmmm challenging equation no doub't ok let me figure this out

so its Pashtun with other ethnicities mixed in who are basically Pashtun

or Pashtun plus other ethnicities by the way who also have to be pashtun in order to be Basically Pashtun

                        so the Ans is

                        Pashtun + (Pashtun) = Pashtun

                        damn i did it

Road is such an idiot. He claims Afghanistan had strategic depth in pakistan by saying that the Peshawar 7 was the afghan government in exile.

Then he says that the US gave Afghans high tech weapons against the Soviets. When I said that 99% of the weapons that were used against the soviets were soviet and Chinese made, the only US made weapon used against the Soviets was the Stinger missile. He says why would the soviets supply the majahideen with weapons against themselves. He doesn't realize that the weapons were brought from Egyptian stockpiles who was supplied by the Soviets during the 70's.

Now he is saying that Afghans have feudal overlords and the overlords combine them as tribes under one name.
This guy is clueless beyond imagination.
